    I want to know if you nickname your pokemon or not and why. I ocasionaly nickname some of my guys.
     
    i hardly nickname my pokemon. the one times i nickname is when i am bored or when someone wants me to nickname a pokemon for them.
     
    I hate nicknaming, I wouldn't mind, but the fact you cant rename if they're traded annoys me, and I can never think of any names for them... lol
     
    I dont waste time thinking of a nickname, takes too much time and effort out of the game, im fine with the names they have. ^-^
     
    If I can think of a cool nickname for them, I will. And most times I don't really because I nicknamed my Treecko, Grovyle in Emerald and when it did evolve to a Grovyle it's name stayed, then when it was a Sceptile it was still known as Grovyle. So, that's the main reason I hardly nickname anymore.
     
    i did in red,blue, and yellow only because they changed color in pokemon stadium if you did nickname them....
     
    I don't nickname my Pokemon. I prefer their own names to be honest
     
    I nickname the pokémon I mostly use:
    Floatzel (F) - Maria
    Gengar (M) - Gustavo
    Weavile (M) - Renato
    Swampert (M) - Satoshi
    Tangrowth (M) - Marcelo
     
    I nicknamed the Budoof I not long caught on Pokemon Pearl, I named it Beaver XD Why? because it made me think of one =P

    I nickamed my Pikachu on Yellow Sparky
     
    You bet I nickname my Pokémon! (See my sig. *Wink*) I love to name everything, that's why. And they deserve it.

    BTW Leon_Prower, I love The Fox & the Hound too! ;D
     
    Generally I don't nickname my Pokémon. The only time I will nickname them is if I like the final evolutions name better in Japanese than in English.
     
    No, the only Pokemon I nickname are sometimes I call my filler Bidoofs "Bidoff" or "Poo" or "Crap". That's it though, as far as my regular stuff goes I don't nickname anything.
     
    I usually give them funny nicknames, but sometimes I just give them a normal nickname.
     
    I didn't use to name my pokes cuz I thought it was stupid, but now I like too, if I don't I go to the Name Rater to do it. So a, I do. (My Absol is nicknamed Nightblade)
     
    I name every Pokémon I end up EV-training and preparing for competitive-play. This obviously means that I don't use other people's Pokémon for battling, and only breed/catch my own. x_x

    Back in LeafGreen, I named my Pokémon after members of this Japanese female idol group called "Morning Musume" (I was in a stage >.>). Now I just pick out various terms that I plan on using in a story I'm currently developing.
     
    Yes, I nickname my Pokemon random things...like Kira the Cloyster. Who is male, despite popular belief...
     
    the only pokemon i would ever nickname would be a Piplup i would call him Pingu but im to lazy to do it
