Gwahhh!!! I used to scream every time I saw a clown, even cartoon clowns. After since I watched Stephen King's It with Pennywise.

The Dark Night helped me from my fear a little bit because the Joker was so awesome. But still, 3 words that make me super scared. "Clowns with Chainsaws'
 
I don't hate clowns, although I do know a clown personally, and he scares me a little.. x_o
 
Yes, they are really creepy and pointless. Its a sorry excuse for a job too.
 
I used to hate clowns.

When I was six or seven a clown went up to randomly in a crowd, honked his red nose, and asked if I was having fun. It scared the living crap out of me.
 
No...never understood why people hate them.

Now if we're talking Pennywise the Clown....THATS creepy. Heck, he turned out to be some spider thing, which totally didnt do him justice. BUt still....

Do you want....a balloon?

I did. I got so scared when the boy was floating his little paper boat in the water stream by the curb and he goes to the sewer and the clown is right there and kills him. Then the part where the book starts bleeding blood.

Scariest.
Movie.
Ever.

The entire reason I hate clowns.
 
Meh. They freak me out. And when I see people drive by with a big red nose on the front of their car for X-mas, my heart literally skips a beat(not in a good way). But I guess clowns freak me out 0.o
 
No I really dont hate clowns its there job they got to make money some how.I am not around clowns enough too hate them and I am not freaked out about them cause I have not had a bad clown experience or anything like that.Nor any dreams of evil clowns.
 
Well, pretty much the only reason I hate clowns is because I was at Scare-o-winds one Halloween, and I was with a bunch of my friends, and my current boyfriend, Alex. And I felt something touch my shoulder. And I say "What Alex?" And he says "What? I didn't do anything." Then I got creeped out. I turned around to see some dude in a really scary clown mask and I screamed bloody murder! And I literally ran into Alex's arms. I was so scared that night. So yah.
 
Thats what they are supposed to do at scare places like that. What about the clowns at the circus they are up in your face or putting there hand on your shoulder during the middle of the show.

*shrugs* Even though clowns freak me out, I wanna work at Scareowinds one day.

I've been to Ringling Brothers: Greatest show on earth,(which it is) but I never have seen a clown there at all.
 
Clowns hmm... there alright,but there very creepy to be by and look at.
 
really don't like them...
as far as I remember... always was scared of clown since my younger age... there's something in masked people that you can't trust :P
 
I don't ever hate Clowns, or get scared of them. :3

I just get scared of those ones that are in scary movies.
