Do you play Pokemon Spin-Off Games?

    Topic. I play a couple, the old Pokemon TCG on GameBoy Color and Pokemon Ranger so I can get Manaphy for my main games. Also what do you think of these Spin-Offs? Are they as good as the main games?
     
    I don't like spin offs much. I play Colosseum and XD, and the N64 spin offs. But I'm not fond of most of the handheld ones. PMD is okay if you're in the mood for it, I hate Ranger with a passion, and the others aren't worth mentioning. Nobunaga's Ambition actually looks pretty decent though.

    I wouldn't put spin offs on par with any main games, though. They're a breed all their own, and honestly can't compare to even other spin offs, because they're just all so different from each other. Story wise, which is comparable to main games, excels more than the main games typically I think (PMD, Colo, Nobunaga). I think Colosseum has a better plot than all the main games.

    I'm trying to get the Colloseum games for Gamecube but Gamecube games are a bit harder to find these days. I don't like ordering off of Amazon or Ebay mainly because I hate paying for something and having to wait, plus I don't know if I'm getting ripped off or not. I can understand why you hate Ranger, I haven't beaten it yet. My rule is I don't judge a game until the credits roll. I have mixed feelings so far.
