Do you record your losses in battle spot with Vs Recorder? or just your wins? I prefer to record just my losses so I can get better as I have lost many battles when I first did battle spot and my rank was low because of my inexperience, it got me depressed and I started to get very competitive, I kinda want to be one of the top ranked for some reason but that makes me think what happens after that If I do/could? anyways since I've beat the game and almost did all the post-game, battle spot and battles are the only thing left to do pretty much, I spend my time pretty much doing wifi battles since I have almost nothing else to do on Pokemon Y. I've got my rank to around 1600 in battle spot right now and improving, and in the past it's been in the 1300s before but I've had around of 225+ battles which isn't compared to some people who battle and they have like 1000+ battles. Because all of the battles and experience, I have almost 2 boxes of competive pokemon and they're EV trained though most aren't IV bred disappointingly. I don't have pokemon such as cresselia, heatran, suicune, entei, latios, latias, azelf though like others do which pwn competition, I'd have to play Pokemon White/Black 2 all over again to transfer them. Well this probably got a little off topic, anyways I'm just a big pokemon fan who has played the very old pokemon games to the new ones but never did wifi battles until Pokemon White 2 and Pokemon Y which I've gotten into and it's addicting.

I usually only save my losses when I get haxed, then I'll replay them and see if I could have actually won, which is pointless since crits, paralysis, etc., are part of the game, I'm just interested to see what would've happened.

I never record losses, unfortunately; only the wins. After reading Flushed's post, though, I think it might actually be a good idea to start doing it; this way, I could review myself, see what mistakes I've made, what I could do better, and things like that. :]

I save all battles and then write down the players name, their team, and the moves used. I like to use very anti-meta teams so it's important that I keep up with usage statistics. I only keep the really good battles, the rest get deleted.

I very rarely save battles at all- I only really save battles that were fantastic, or where I beat people using ubers (I tend to go free battles) killing mega blaziken is just the best feeling ever.

We save good battles where both participants perform at their best. This includes battles we lose, although that generally does not happen in free battle.

It seems like we also develop a habit to save battles against teams full of legendaries, mostly to show newer players that girth isn't everything.

Seems like I'm the only one who usually saves their losses, I used to record only my wins to show off to myself and see how well I did but now of course I only record my losses to show how I can improve and how funny it was when my opponent pwned me. I always change some pokemon to a better one after I record and never use the one that did bad.

I save the epic wins and whatnot to relive the moments :P never have saved losses but your ideas are great! I could fix my mistakes and see if I could actually win. Love this feature ^^
