Do you think it will stop?

I read this at Dragonflycave, and it seems perfectly believable..
"...as the years pass, the fans are also getting older, and not just aging themselves - the whole average age of Pokémon fans is gradually rising as fewer and fewer kids are getting into the franchise and the ones that already were into it grow older. This can be seen for example by the fact that on average, FanFiction.Net's Pokémon section has received more new fics per month after the release of the Advance generation (Ruby and Sapphire) than before it, even despite the Pokémon fad being at its height during the Gold/Silver/Crystal age. During the height of the craze, many children were into it, but they were not particularly active fans for the most part; they just bought their cards and played their games. As the true fans, who were not only into it because everybody else was, prevailed after the fad died, they began to communicate more online about Pokémon, seeing as most of them no longer had friends who were into it, discovering subjects such as fan fiction and more importantly being old enough to participate and write some of their own. Serebii.net, currently the largest Pokémon news-based site on the net, is reportedly getting more hits now than the biggest sites were getting during the height of the Pokémon fad, which says quite a bit..."

i doubt it! pokemon will never die!!!as long as we remember it it will never die!!because i love pokemon!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!(a bit corny...)

After seeing 4th gen I pretty much know it will die within 3 generations. They are really running out of ideas and are getting more and more redundant its only a matter of time before the pokemon become more and more unoriginal and more and more phail-tastic...

It may seem like it won't die, but then the good people at nintendo will leave, and it'll be like Final Fantasy. It won't be any good anymore. The only good games will be the old ones, but there'll be no huge online battling systems to truely test your strength. Then, what would be the point after you've made the perfect team of level 100s? Unfortunantly, it's time is limited. Nobody lives forever, and no good thing can last forever.

man i dont think it will be over until never...
in all way...
it sale more than hello-kitty (in japan & USA) all hello-kitti sale in a year pokemon have like 2 or 3 times that much sale...
if pokemon die i might die or DIE...
i cant resit that

The fact that most people Iv'e talked with about pokemon still think there are only 150 creatures just proves this game won't die so easily.

I sure hope it won't stop, even if it is a drag in the anime world, I don't mind much. The anime world makes the video game world fall into place.
