    How long has it been since she was in the show in Japan?
    Cuz I'd like to see her return for a few more episodes like Conway.
     
    I don't think I've heard anything about her coming back. But I believe that if the gang ever returns to Johto, there's a good chance she'll reappear as that's where she's from.
     
    The Japanese tend to be about 20 episodes ahead of the US version of the show. That would mean that "Bagged Then Tagged" aired in Japan about 5 months ago.

    @ thread title = Yes. I think she and Khoury both have solid characters to work with and I truly hope the writers don't throw away all that potential like that.

    I think Kotone actually appearing in the anime for so long, pretty much said that if Ash heads to Johto, she won't be who he travels with, and I doubt they'll give any return to Johto it's own full few seasons. Sooo yeah.. I can see her showing up randomly again, but I'm doubting that she'll become the main female, because of how long she already traveled with the cast. Seemed to me like that was the anime saying "Here's your Kotone fix, because she's not gonna travel with Ash. 8D" ... x_x
     
    Actually i really think after ash gets his 8th sinnoh badge and wins the sinnoh league, theres gonna be a battle frontier in johto, and ash and co. will travel there and dawn will have to leave soon after that to fullfill her dream of becoming a contest coordinator or watever, and i guess thats were tyra comes in again, but i hopee they dont replace brock by khoury.
     
    Well I dont think she will return to sinnoh because she only has 3 badges so she will want to beat the silver conference first! I have a feeling that ash and co. will be going to johto for 1 season like battle frontier again and he might meet her then.
     
    I really want Lyra to come back since she's my favourite female character so far. On a side not I have a feeling the Battle Frontier won't in Johto this time since I seem to recall at some point in the anime that a Sinnoh Battle Frontier was mentioned.
     
    LOL @ Lyra making another appearance. HeartGold & SoulSilver marketing time is long over. So no, she will never, ever, ever return for another appearance again. She won't even be mentioned even if they go back to Johto, which I doubt they will anyway.
