4th Gen do you think that jasmine that was in DPPt meant something?

at one point in DPPt you see jasmine, jasmine was from pokemon gold/crystal/silver, so do you think that they may have been hinting something about HGSS?

It's a stretch, but I think so. What do you think steven stone in HG/SS means? Thinking it points to R/S/E remakes, jasmine setting a precedent. But yes, It think she was more than just sitting on the beach (and kicking ass at contests).

It is generally accepted that they were, even before HGSS was announced (people, myself included, were saying 'remakes seem rather possible/likely/etc' due to that partly). That and Jasmine is far from the only instance where one is reminded of GSC - the red gyarados at lake rage is mentioned on tv in the beginning of D/P or throughout Platinum, Prof Elm is specifically mentioned when you get an Egg, an NPC talks about the Whirl Islands and the Clefairy dancing on Mt Moon event... it goes on.

I think that about answers it...and not sure I see much discussion besides that then, so going to close.
