Do you think the anime will be better if pickachu evolved?

Hell yeah! Its pretty powerful now so I guess it would be immensily powerful as a Raichu... but then again... its never gonna happen... :(

Of course it would be different, not sure if it would be better. I always question to myself, "What if Ash evolved his Pikachu after he lost against Lt. Surge?" It would be better because Raichu is stronger, maybe Ash wouldn't lose at first in those Gym Battles. On the other hand, the anime would be different as everyone knows whom Pikachu is, with Pikachu becoming very popular.

I've always liked Raichu better. It's cuter. o.o But I doubt they'd ever change it Pikachu will probably always be our fuzzy yellow mascot.

It would be interesting no doubt, but as for it being better I'm not sure. I think since Pikachu has been here for so long it'd be too weird to watch the show without him. (even though I like Raichu better)

I don't think so. I like Pikachu more, and he's been a main character for so long that changing him would ruin it for me.

Besides the fact that Ash would have to force Pikachu against its will to evolve, and that it would destroy the whole friendship, hard work, and perseverance message that the anime gives off, I think things would be fine.

I love Raichu, but to me it'd feel awkward if Ash evolved his Pikachu... especially since it's been the mascot of the show for so long.

Togepi was written off the show seasons ago. So it wasn't a big deal. Pikachu is the shows mascot.
