4th Gen Do You Think The GTS Could Do Some Work for the next Pokemon game?

    I have been wondering this alot lately. So I was wondering what people would think about this opinion. As a personal thought I actually do thuink the system could use work for example you should be able to select pokemon to recieve that you don't own because I was seeing the gts and thinking sweet a raikou! then I look under the letter "R" and nothing so what do you think? is the real question.
     
    Nope. Thats somewhat, a bad Idea, i mean, that means that we just get a cloned-shiny from your emerald, and get whatever pokemon you desire

    I wont put it off as a really bad idea, since it could work; as the GTS can try to prevent the same pokemon being sent over gts twice (yes, pokemon have a code, that is unique to them... but we cant see them xD [unles you use hacking tools, or a flash-card])

    Unfortunately I only understand a little bit about what the OP is talking about, but anyway I'll still post some thoughts I have about the GTS future.

    While you might find it irritating that the GTS will only search for Pokemon seen in your Pokedex, this is for the good of the game. What challenge is it getting all the legendaries into your game from some random person off the GTS and waltzing through all the gyms + Elite 4?

    Also a shiny section isn't such a good idea either in my opinion. Shinies are supposed to be special. With this, people will end up having more shinies than normal looking Pokemon!

    One thing I would like implemented though, is the option of searching for particular natured Pokemon. Might make it slightly easier to find Pokemon then to pass on natures whilst breeding.

    What I would like is to be able to search in a Pokemon that you have, and what other people offer for it.
     
    well it is a pretty good idea for being able to see pokemon you havn't got but exceptions from legendaries and I wish the game could see if the pokemon are legit or not i got an unlegit syther that was supposingly caught wih a masterball and had full ev's so I had to re deposit that so im just testing my luck allthough you can get somegood pokemon from the gts i got a lv 50 salmence on it that was legit. But than again another hacker would just come along and break the legit and non legit identyfiying system :'(

    id like the GTS to show the ball, and nature of the pokemon that is being offered.
     
    yeah but then again the gts is like a gambling place to gmable a pokemon and to see what you get you just don't put up rare pokemon though.
     
    I'm not quite sure what gotron228 was trying to say, but a feature the GTS badly needs is the ability to search for Pokemon that others want, and an option to filter out ridiculous trades such as a Lvl.100 Mewtwo for a Lvl.1 Magikarp.

    This i agree with this, i had to trade and retrade regice's for regice's like 20 times to get the right nature that i wanted.

    I also agree im tired of see'ing these dumb trades, level 1 gastly for a level 100 deoxy's or something.

    Same with people who are offering there say Articuno for a level 9 charizard or something that doesnt make anysense to me
     
    hmm Im trying to trade and trade back someone for a darkrai but only someone im entitled to trust but back to buisness I agree it's completly stupied wanting to trade like a level 1 bidoof for a deoxys
     
    i dont think you can trade them on GTS so i dunno what your talkin about there
     
    You sure ? I never see them or Shaymin for example since they arent really released in the english game i dont think you can, i heared this from other people too
     
    I ment deoxys no you cant see arceus or shaymin tehre because its not released i an event yet its still rareto see darkrai there
     
    i think they should make it so you can ask for specific items along with pokemon so you can get porygon z or electivire easier.
     
    yeah that would rock I wish we could submit this to nintendo lol
