Do you think they'll shove another mascott down our throwts?

Pipulp got shoved down our throwts this Generation.
I'm hopping next series we don't get the same thing.
Let Pikachu and Meowth be the only mascotts of Pokemon.
Do you agree?

I frankly agree. Pikachu and maybe Meowth should be the only representations of the franchise. Piplup is Wesley up to 11, and it's annoying that no matter how many people hate it, it gets shoved down our throats ever so obnoxiously.

I play Gen V doesn't do this. Piplup was annoying enough...>:V

Agree. Piplup is annoying and they still keep it just because it is cute mascot. I think there's enough pokemons outside the pokeball.

I don't really mind Piplup. It was actually kinda funny to watch and the fact that it almost never did anything but fail over and over and over...

Maybe it was annoying. If they do decide to have another mascot in Gen V, let it be useful.

I actually sort of like Piplup, but I do hope that there isn't another one in generation five. I really don't think they will, mainly because they will run out of room on movie posters, but let them do what they will.

Or that kitty Pokemon.
Course, I think it'd be a 5th Generation cute type Pokemon.
But I am still hopping this doesn't happen.
I know many that are sick of Pipulp, don't know how popular it is in Japan.
On many Pokemon forums, many bash it.
So I'm hopping maybe the Japan writers/producers of Pokemon hear this like they did with Brock.
They brought Brock back cuz of the fans right? So maybe.
Than again, May was popular and she left any ways, so I don't know.

Well anyone who got into the original Pokemon waaaaaaaaay long ago will know that Clefairy was originally meant to be Ash's partner, but was changed to Pikachu because Clefairy was too shy a Pokemon to be given THAT much attention. But honestly, its not that bad that Piplup is a mascot of Pokemon, since it is a cute Pokemon which I guess appeals to the younger crowds (and penguin lovers like moi lol). I kinda feel offended that they changed the way Pikachu looks nowadays...i miss the days from when it first came out that Pikachu was this short fat, round rodent...they gave it a neck lol. So in a sense them making a mascot they cant mess up is a good thing.
