Do you use boosts in-game?

I use the items from time to time, like when I know trainer I'm battling is going to heal his Poke, or going to use a defensive move. I never spent much (if any) money on it. I do renember fully boosting my Breloom with the items to simply crush Cynthia.

I am a great fan of stat boosting moves though, especially Swords dance, Quiver Dance and Nasty Plot.
I always try to get those moves if a poke is able to learn them. And no, I'm not that stupid to give Weavile Nasty plot or anything like that.

I use Stat Boosters frequently, and I think I will be using them alot on my current challenges. It's better to be safe then sorry. I mean, if you can't beat Hydreigon it 1 hit, your going to get killed. So why don't use a X Sp.Def to help you and let you live longer? What do you prefer, being 2HKO'd or 3HKO'd (and then stacking the X Sp.Defs to help you live more attacks then kill it)

I have never in my life used an X item, which I really should. But normally I just toss them or sell them to the poke mart.

I'm a bit of a noob when it comes to moves; I delete stat-boosting moves to make way for damaging ones, but that's the way I like to play it and I've done okay so far :)

I've never really used X items. I just sell them. I may use a stat boosting move occasionally though.

Same here.

My most popular moves are Swords Dance, Dragon Dance, and Calm Mind. I also prefer Calm Mind over Nasty Plot due to the SpDef boost in addition to the SpAtk boost.

I never really use them, although there was one playthrough of Leafgreen, where I must have been somewhat under-leveled, because even though the rest of the Elite Four was nice and easy, Blue was a pain in the butt. I happened to have an X-Speed and an X-Attack, and it helped me win. Some might think it's cheap, but hey, to each his own, right?
