Alright this is going to paint me as being weird, but I'm at enough of a point where I have enough confidence in what I am.
I would, but to make myself look more nonhuman. Like if the technology becomes available, looking nonhuman becomes more accepted, and it's affordable, I would definitely jump on it. Though it's mostly just fantasy at this point, and like we're not even at a point of accepting nonhuman identity or cosmetic surgery, but as a system we've talked about it extensively and given the opportunity if we could have a nonhuman body we would. Like I know it's weird and may be taboo to talk about, but whatever.
In general my views of cosmetic surgery have mostly shifted to viewing them as any other type of body mod, just a more extreme one. I think it's just a part of wanting your body to look the way you want. While I don't agree with utilizing cosmetic surgery to reinforce beauty norms, I think it can be effective for those who want to be more comfortable in their skin for any reason. I don't like the idea of looking down on people who get cosmetic surgery because I feel it would be hypocritical.
