Does a toxic plate affect the move toxic?

    I read that the move toxic doesn't get STAB, so it got me curious as to whether items such as the toxic plate or poison barb perhaps increase the damage each turn on the Pokemon affected by it (or even the initial blow). Does anyone know? Thank you! <3
