    its to bad that sprite shops were banned. does anyone know if they will open up?

    Doesn't look like it.
    As far as I heard, they banned the sprite shops because too many people were spamming in them. Nasty.

    That's an awful shame, because I would have liked to put a sprite in my sig.
     
    From what I've heard, some people request them over MSN/PM. You can put sprites in signatures, so as long as they have nothing to do with actual sprite shops.
