Does anyone else have a T-Mobile G1?

    With the mass amount of iPhone users, I am wondering who has a T-Mobile G1 (or HTC Dream). IMO the Dream is better than the iPhone in terms of browsing.

    What do you guys think?
     
    Care to explain how it's better than the iPhone "in terms of browsing"?
     
    Agreed with Waka. Given the iPhone's Safari is pretty widely recognized as being the best mobile browser.

    But seriously, only benefit with the G1 browser is that it allows you to "search" the page.

    Well, they have, just not to the browser. Strange seeing as how Spotlight allows you to search Contacts, Mail, Calendar, and Notes... but not Safari. But in my opinion, that's still better than so many of the other phones out there seeing as how most of them don't even have a search function, let alone a pretty wide range of search abilities. Regardless, despite the fact that your opinion on the T-Mobile G1 being superior to the iPhone being pretty humorous, I guess it's a matter of opinion.

    No no, you've got me wrong.

    The G1 is not at all superior to the iPhone. I use an iPhone 3G and i wouldn't trade it for any fone currently in the market (except for the 3Gs).

    Only problem with iPhone is the browser, yet its still the best browser currently out. Example is loading forums... It can download the data within a few seconds, but the layout and such takes too long for my tastes (though that can be attributed to the 128 MB ram and 410 MHz processor.)

    Apart for the web browser, the iPhone is simply brilliant. The shape, size, capabilities, space and potential is still sky high. There is still potential in the iPhone. iPhone linux and bluetooth file sharing being two main points that have potential, but have not been completely explored.

    I dont want to go off topic, but I just wanted to clarify my stance :3

    Not very far away at all. Search windows 95 on Nokia N95. Well, actually, the Nokia N95 is a dual processor whilst the iPhone is single processor :O still though XD iPhone ftw
