Does anyone else think the pokemon show is retarted

i know i'm gonna get a lot of bad feedback for this but the show is just plain bad, its corny
the worst part is that Ashes strongest pokemon is a pikachu when he has a snorlax and a charizard
i guess the was good when i was like 8 but now it justs sucks
manga is amazing though and so is the videogame
