Does anyone know any good Mangas for a first-time user?

PokeSpe forum is only 80% true but oh well...^^ I have to agree with you. Pokemon Special is the best Pokemon manga out there!^^ You really have to read it (It's third in the top Shonen manga list of a special website and also was first there btw so that should prove it's good) !^^ It converts Pokemon in a darker world with awesome battles but doesn't forget the comedy!^^

And if you want to, you can also try the electric tale of Pikachu although the site I know only has two chapters...^^

Although that's a little off-topic, try Bakuman and Death Note, too (You asked for mangas, didn't you? Which means: Not only Pokemon mangas)!^^ They're also awesome!^^

Actually, this part of the forum is for the various pokemon manga, not other manga. Special just gets more attention because it's one of the more popular manga, so don't make a mistake by saying it's THE manga. Everyone has their own opinion on which manga is the best, but most of what I read are pretty good. The ones that come to my head are Electric Tale of Pikachu (nice adaptation of the anime), Diamond and Pearl Adventure! (literal adaptation of the DP games but still pretty good), Magical Pokemon Journey (if PS/DPA/EToP are considered shounen pokemon manga, then this would be the shoujo manga, pretty cute imo), and so on. Oh yes, and Golden Boys. It's an adaptation of the original GS games that was unfortunately cut short.

You can either buy them online or at stores (Special, DPA, Mystery Dungeon, and the movie manga are the only ones available in stores) or try to find them online, which isn't as easy. While Special has a wide range of availability, unfortunately the other manga aren't in as much high quantities. I'd say good luck on finding them. :T
