6th Gen Does anyone NOT like the Mega Evolution process?

Honestly, like DynaimicD said, I disliked the idea at first but, I've quickly grown to like it. While I do agree that stats shouldn't be decreased in ANY stat (despite being semi-releastic), I do believe that the increase in useless stats are geared towards more casual players, whom mightn't know the difference between physical & special moves (aka Kids). Also the Mega Scizor allows people to use a different Moveset for Scizor, since the Choice Band set dominated the others (for the most part) & created more versatility. Also, I like the fact that the Mega have made more Pokes viable.

It was a good idea. But the pokemon they gave the megas to didn't really seem to need them. And not many of them were pokemon I actually liked. So I'm not to much of a fan of mega evos.

I like it for the most part...I'm not such a fan of the fact that they don't need to immediately Megavolve...At the same time, though, I like that that's just another thing that adds to the strategy of the game...

The only reason I don't like it, is because of the digimon-esq feeling of the process. But other than that Mega Blaziken, Mewtwo X and Abomasnow exist so it's okay.

I love it. Many of the designs are great, and many of my favorites got Mega Evolutions. It's also entirely optional.

The biggest reason, though, is that Charizard went from being the laughing stock of the competitive community to being one of the deadliest powerhouses in the game. Take that, Charizard haters! :P

I personally felt like Mega Evolutions were a bad thing at first and laughed at them because I had a hunch they'd overpower some Pokémon to the breaking point - which actually did happen in the end. But later on I kind of grew into it and I even like most of the Mega Evolutions (for the exception of Pinsir and Heracross). The only bad thing I can think of is that they overpowered some of the Pokémon way too much for example Kangaskhan, Blaziken and Charizard and didn't give Mega Evolution to those Pokémon that would have really needed it. I would have rather had Sableye, Dunsparce, Girafarig, Cofagrigus etc. to receive Mega Evolution. :)
