4th Gen Does anyone think D/P is too slow?

i do agree that the text is slow, but the gameplay is just way to fast. not including the E4, i beat the game in 3 days only playing about 2 and a half hours a day, where on sapphire and fire red it took me a couple of weeks to beat.

another thing about the game i dont like is me and my friend spent 2 weeks completing the national dex and NOTHING happened. Doesnt in leaf green pof. oak lets you pick like a johto starter?
 
I'm fine with the slowness of the battles, but I dislike the slow suft. It's 50% slower than the previous generations. ;/
 
Guys you can just change the text speed.

But yes, it's very slow, I'm not used to such slowness anymore.
 
It's only too slow if you don't have the Cobble Badge.
 
I don't like the cutscenes in D/P. Boring!

Yesh, I do think it is slow, you just sit there, pressing A/B, waiting for everything to be over so you can go on your journey into Sinnoh. That's how I feel. :D

I played Diamond for a while, didn't notice anything.

Then I got Platinum version.

I hate playing Diamond again because it feels so slow, whenever I attack, it always seems like I missed. :(
 
It has better graphics? I found out that Emerald and Platinum run slow in text boxes, but Diamond and Pearl just move faster than those two.
 
Even when the text is very fast, I still think the game is too slow but it is awesome though
