heres a team without mewtwo, lugia, yadda yadda yadda.

tell me if it sounds like it works.

blastoise (give me some good moves for him)

    bellossom
    cut
    giga drain
    solarbeam
    petal dance

    magcargo
    overheat
    flamethrower
    fire blast
    rock slide

    banette
    shadow ball
    thunder
    (give me two more)

    crobat
    sludge bomb
    fly
    toxic
    (one more)

    tyranitar
    earthquake
    (three more)

im playing emerald right now and thats what im working up to. i dont have blastoise yet so im still using swampert. i just like blastoise the best out of the 3 water starters. and i dont have my beloved tyranitar either. just fill in the blank movesets for me because im not even halfway done building my team, but these are the monsters i have chosen. i left some of the moves blank because you guys know what youre talking about.

    thanks.

bellossom Vileplume is stronger but it's your choice, but anyways.
    cut
    giga drainSafe Gaurd
    solarbeam
    petal dance

Your are on the Right track, Blossom is more of a Sweeper then anything.but you should not have any more then 1 damaging move of a single type, Solarbeam and petal dance are BOTH very good attacks, if anything you may want to go for Petal Dance, or find a way to teach blossom Sunny day

    magcargo
    overheat/ Amnesia
    flamethrower
    fire blast/Sunny Day
    rock slide

Camerupt or an Torkoal would be a better choice, but you use what you want. Magcargo's main power relies on his Special attack, try to avoid physical attacks on him because they would not do much damage, i myself have 7 different Magcargo's, each with different move sets, you seem to prefer direct damage attacks so i will try to keep around them.

    banette
    shadow ball
    thunderBOLT
    (give me two more)
    Psychic
    Hyper Beam
Banette is a great choice, he is a Sweeper, avoid trying to use him as a Wall, keep him with as many damaging attacks,, (whether physical or special) as you can, again, he is an all around sweeper

    crobat
    sludge bomb
    fly
    toxic
    (one more)
    Crunch

    good job

    tyranitar
    earthquake
    hyper beam
    (two mroe again)
    Flame Thrower
    Crunch

if you want to get some walls in that set get a Claydoll (Evolved form of Baltoy) or a Dusclops (Evolved form of Duskull) they are the best Walls in the game. later on in the game you may find you would like Groudon more than Tyranitar, or a Rayquaza instead, but it's your choice. good balance of pokemon, there are some changes i would do but,,,, it does not matter, if the team works PERFECT with you, then it is a great team, try to mold you pokemon/team as you want them to be used, but try to use their current stats to influence how they may be 20-30 levels from where they are, so you know how to form your set, and you know if it will work BEFORE you finish the individual pokemons training.

blastoise (give me some good moves for him)

    bellossom
    Sunny Day
    HP Fire/Sleep Powder for ingame
    solarbeam
    Synthesis

Vileplume is better if only because it learns Aromatherapy.

    magcargo
    Overheat/Flamethrower
    Yawn/Toxic
    Light Screen/Amnesia
    Reflect/Iron Defense

The only real thing about him is his defense, but he can't even take a hit due to his low HP. This guy is just lame.

    banette
    Skill Swap/Night Shade
    Knock Off/Night Shade
    Shadow Ball
    HP Fighting/Will-o-wisp/Toxic

It's an attacking ghost type, pretty nice, but don't give it any special attacks. You can skill swap Insomnia on a pokemon that has to depend on Rest, like Snorlax, and screw him.

    crobat @ choice band
    Sludge Bomb
    Aerial Ace
    Shadow Ball
    HP Ground/Fighting

Put a Choice Band on him and this thing rocks, just be careful not to put any non attacking move in the last slot, as with CB you will repeating that move, unable to attack.

    tyranitar
    Earthquake
    Rock Slide
    Dragon Dance
    Taunt/Aerial Ace

    Blastoise
    Mirror Coat
    Ice Beam
    Surf
    Rest

I like this set, as I once Mirror Coated back a Thunderbolt from Zapdos and OHKOed him. Blastoise is a tank, plain and simple, with the only two weaks in Grass and Electric. That's why Mirror Coat is there.

im playing emerald right now and thats what im working up to. i dont have blastoise yet so im still using swampert. i just like blastoise the best out of the 3 water starters. and i dont have my beloved tyranitar either. just fill in the blank movesets for me because im not even halfway done building my team, but these are the monsters i have chosen. i left some of the moves blank because you guys know what youre talking about.

You need a physical wall on your team. I suggest either Weezing or Skarmory, they're the best at it.

To answer you initial question. Yes, we use legendaries, but no, not Uber. Mewtwo, Latios, Kyogre, etc are Ubers, with the highest stats in the game. Zapdos, Moltres, Suicune, Celebi are all legendaries, but they don't have the stats of Ubers. That's why it's ok to use them.

Also, soldier2021, don't even try to suggest movesets if you have no ideea what you're saying. NEVER use Hyper Beam and NEVER use a HM move other that Surf. Cut on Belossom?? U crazy? Bannete's stats support Physical moves, don't give it Thunderbolt and Psychic...If you're not good at rating, just don't rate, maybe the person will actually take your suggestions and make himself a horrible team. But meh...

I think that players using legendary Pokemon only are suckers.I always catch all the legendaries and NEVER use them. Why?Because I think that they deserve their privacy and I don't make them fight. That's the story.Besides, I don't really need them. Some Pokemon like Charizard or Blastoise are more then often more then a match for the legendaries. Also, I hardly ever use Hoenn Pokemon. For some reason, I love especially Kanto Pokemon because they are full of fantasy unlike some of the Hoenn Pokemon(for example, I'm sure that the creators needed much fantasy to find out Beautyfly, especially after Butterfree:D).Also, I don't really like the Hoenn Pokemon, nor the Hoenn legendaries. The team I often use:Venusaur,Charizard,Blastoise,Rhydon,Machamp,Nidoking. I won't write attacks or levels, but what do you guys think about the team?

Yeah a majority of the time I have them in my party. Like one or two.

Charizad, Rhydon, Nidoking=all weakness to Water
Blastoise, Rhydon = Weakness to grass
Venusaur, Machamp = Weakness to psychic

i could go on like this for hours, the party is full of some really powerfull pokemon, but it is not balanced. (I've made the same mistake before and i got wasted by my brothers Gengar, Alakazam, and Starmie.

well, I admire the fact that you use your favorite pokemon in battle, but that's not exactly a good team. Skarm+Curselax could wall your entire team, or better yet, CMCune.
I do believe that Curselax alone could wipe your team, after a few curses, with Earthquake and Return...only three of your pokemon are resistant to earthquake, but they can be taken out easily with Return.

Soldier, I will have to ask you to stop rating teams until you know what you're talking about. Banette can't learn Thunderbolt, Hyper Beam sucks, and Crobat can't learn Crunch (why are you giving it special attacks anyways?!?)

A.J., this is not the place to show your team. If you want to, please make a separate topic and make sure to include all of their moves.

    Mrmiatch, go with Lathspell's suggestions.

This obviously proves you're a noob if you use Hyper Beam and think Banette can learn Thunderbolt. I'd like you to research more like aragornbird said and learn before you rate.

Banette CAN learn thunderbolt but i've seen soldiers other posts and they prove he should not be rating any teams

Umm AB Banette can actually learn T-bolt and Thunder. First time I've seen you have be wrong (first time for everything I guess, good thing I am still here xD). Doesn't matter though as it is a horrible move to teach it. This only cool Banette is this:

    Banette (M) @ Leftovers ** Teh Ghost
    Trait: Insomnia
    EVs: 76 HP / 252 Atk / 180 Spd
    Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
    - Hidden Power [Fighting]
    - Shadow Ball
    - Snatch
    - Will-O-Wisp

Snatching stuff is cool. I haven't used it in UU in a while nor have I played UU or Pokemon in a long time so I'm not sure if this still works. I'll play sometimes only with good players though.

This forum has gotten crappy with all the newbs here.

To newbs: READ THE GUIDES LIKE THE OU METAGAME GUIDE BY ME YOU MAY LEARN SOMETHING.

This isn't a competetive team is it?

    Blastoise
    -Surf
    -Ice Beam
    -Earthquake/Roar/Rapid Spin
    -Haze/Rest

    Bellossom
    -Sludge Bomb
    -Return/HP Fire (if you're lucky :P)
-Sunny Day/Swords Dance (use Sunny Day if you have HP Fire, SD if you choose Return)
    -Sleep Powder/Synthesis

    Magcargo
    -Fire Blast/Flamethrower
    -Rock Slide
    -Toxic
    -Protect

    Banette
    -Shadow Ball
    -Thunder Wave/Will-O-Wisp/Toxic/Thunderbolt
    -Return
    -Calm Mind/Psychic

    Crobat
    -Air Cutter/Aerial Ace
    -Sludge Bomb
    -Shadow Ball
    -Confuse Ray/Toxic

    Tyranitar
    -Earthquake
    -Rock Slide
    -Crunch/Thunderbolt
    -Ice Beam/Fire Blast

yeah it works good. actually legendary Pokemon are for the Pokedex's sake

Jirachi, don't tell people that their team works good when it's clear that it doesn't. You need to read up on better Pokemon movesets before you give advice to other people.
