    I mean do you like hear a song on the radio then get a sudden urge to rush out, buy the CD and make like a flash to go with the song? It does me XD
     
    I don't suddenly buy a CD because sometimes there's only one good song in the album and the rest are just meh.


    Anyways, music inspires me to do many things. It inspires me to write, work harder, learn a song, etc. It depends on the music I listen to, actually.
     
    It does for me in certain cases. Like if I'm in a good or bad mood or something like that.

    Music plays an essential role in my life. I love deep, thought-provoking, inspiring songs [or the very opposite], symphonies, anime, and classical in general. ^_^
     
    I like to have music on while I'm working because I like to imagine the imagery of what would be happening as the song plays (if it's an instrumental) or imagine who's singing the song (if vocals are there)

    Sometimes songs inspire me to write a whole chapter.

    True story:

    I had the radio on while I was working on one of my early fics late one night, and I had it on the local classic rock station, which at that point in time, was playing early rock classics from the 50's (Before you laugh, there was nothing else on and some of the songs were actually good, okay?)

    Just then, the song "Personality" came on, and I immediately pictured Brock doing a tap dance while singing that song. (I was fixing to write a "Brock goes googoo" scene) I made the whole chaper revolve around said tap dance...and that chapter got a lot of rave reviews.
     
    Frequently. Some of my finest work comes from listening to music, and even if I don't actually sit down and write, I can get some pretty good mental images out of visuals I get from music.
     
    Some music yes but it depends..
    Some words are very true in songs..
    Others well they dont make sence...
    They must make sence for me to be inspired to it.. ^_^
     
    Heck yeah it does. I think I listen to music almost constantly. It inspires me in everything I do. I listen to it before rugby games/practice, before/during I go running/lifting weights, while I draw/sprite, while I write, etc. When I can't be near the killer sound system in my room or any other producer of noise, I have my trusty 30gb video iPod at my side. Music makes my life complete. XD
     
    It depends on the song, actually. If it's a sad song, it makes me think of sad memories. If it's an awesome rock song, it makes me feel energetic. Sometimes music inspires me to write, but not all the time.
     
    Hmmm...good topic...my friend and I came up with the idea of writing in lyrics (she did first) and its powerful stuff. I am taking up the task of writing about everyone who had an influence or impact on me...mainly my friends, my ex, and my crushes...but for the most part I can easily relate the lyrics to my life...

    I guess I would even say it has influenced my love life more than anything, its given me the courage to ask someone out, deal with emotional issues, and has given me the streangth to move on... Music has become a very important factor in my life...music is a good counselor.

    Not exactly inspire... as Naminé cannot be movitated much by anything, so she will always remain mostly apathetic regardless of how much she tried to force herself to the pen in order to write. More like, she endlessly listens to her numerous collections of game BGMs and OSTs as music affect her mood. Sometimes, if she is angry about something or feeling any forms of rage, then a slow nice piece will always dampen her spirit to keep her actions under control again...
     
    Yeah. I have brought a CD because of one song.

    Music does inspire me expectly in art. I may just draw what I think or I may paint to how the beat is going. IT pretty cool.
     
    Right now the song that has inspired me latley is a song by Mae called Anything.

    I know it may sound strange, but I'm inspired by video game music. More specifically, Crush 40 (the band who plays in the Sonic games ever since Sonic Adventure for DreamCast).

    I don't know why, but their songs have a very deep meaning to me....
