6th Gen Does Pokemon Cloning Work with 2 2DSs?

    My friend and I tried to clone some Pokémon last week, but we couldn't get it to work. We looked at a few tutorials, to try to figure out what the problem was. We both have a 2DS, not a 3DS, so maybe that's the problem?
     
    I wouldn't think that would be an issue, considering they connect in the same fashion as the 3DS.

    You are using wireless and not Infra-red right?
