4th Gen does the FC change

No, your friend code will not change.
 
However, your FC WILL change when you switch to a different DS. And all your friends will be deleted.


Happened to me when I switched to a DS Lite.
 
ooh . coz i was at my friends house and i was afraid of using his router coz then the FC will go and the rigistered friends

Not very wise of you, since the DS has a feature which can transfer all of your Wi-Fi data, hence not losing your friend code and friends.
