According to ABC News, scientists discovered that when dogs play, amid all the panting, they emit the doggie equivalent of a laugh. A long, loud panting sound. To the untrained ear, it sounds kind of like "hhuh huhh"! And it not only means the dog's happy, but the sound has a big impact on other dogs – it calms them right down,
Researchers at the Spokane County Regional Animal Protection Service decided to test the laughs out.
