There was a time on Pokecommunity, when people called me a spammer, just coz I had questions. That time a Staff Member (Spherical Ice) interfered, saying I was fully justified in doing so. Did I appreciate that? Yes I did.
Then, there were people sending me threatening PMs, just coz I have this habit of liking my own posts. Did I go name-calling, no I didn't. A few people, including a Staff Member (Razor Leaf), supported me back then & I thanked every single one of them, albeit a bit late.
This time though its entirely different.
Okay, maybe I did go overboard with my prank, maybe I did stretch it too long. Did one of my posts sound like a threat, although purely unintentional & I did apologize for it, I'm ready to accept that was a mistake. I repeatedly said, that my intentions were not to hurt anyone's feelings & certainly not to troll & apologized for that too. All I did was in good festive spirit. It was just a case of something meant for fun, gone horribly wrong.
But the infraction I got for it, is almost like questioning my honesty, my integrity & putting me in the same category as a criminal.
The entire 22 years of my life, I worked hard every single day, to earn a reputation. Never before have my intentions been questioned like this. My honesty is my USP, but now I feel like a big question mark has been put over all that.
Yeah this is the internet, not to be taken seriously. But my pride has been hurt. I cannot even explain what I'm feeling right now. But apparently my opinion doesn't matter anyways, so I got nothing else to say.
