10. I think Higurashi and Umineko might be seinen. I guess my description of "not using pornographic or adult content" might be a bit off, but that's necessary for it to not be confused for Hentai (which it's not! xD;) I prefer seinen series nowadays since their materials are a bit deeper than most shounen or shoujo series.

I couldn't consider those two Seinin. Namely because it's more horror XD

Then again, it seems like a lot of the good VNs are seinin (like KS and Narcissu; and, I guess...Riviera, though it actually has a couple CGs of naked girls [only the "mature" parts are covered up to maintain a "T" rating]).

Seinen is just a targeted audience term. It can branch into a few other genres as well. Haruhi, Ah My Goddess, Kanon, and Trigun are a few other examples of Seinen.

Umineko's definitely a shonen, but, even though I've been too lazy to haven't gotten around to watching Higurashi yet, I think that the material on the psychological level would qualify it as Seinen.
