I actually think Case Closed is a good dub for Detective Conan. Only problems I have is when they say 'Alberta' instead of Osaka (show, not the movies. They're actually in Osaka in the movies) and then they say things like 'I'm glad I took Japanese'. :|

Oh, and the dubbed names, but I've gotten used to hearing them when watching the dubbed.

It's a good dub, I just want to know why FUNi changes names unless they're fans say otherwise.

You would not believe all the comments on FUNi's test episode of Sgt. Frog of people complaining that you shouldn't take out the last syllable in the characters names (Keroro, Giroro, Tamama and Kululu were shortened to Kero, Giro, Tama and Kulu) and Natsumi's name change (Natalie {although, some fans were slightly more sane on the 'translate names' subject, and said if FUNi was to change names, make it a truthful translation, I.E. Natsumi = Summer}).

IDK why. I mean, I don't mind some of the name changes (like I can understand why they would change Mitsuhiko to 'Mitch', and Ayumi and 'Amy' isn't too far apart. Genta to 'George' ehh..). But seriously, some of them are just silly. Especially when you figure out why they chose they name for their dubbed name. -points to Heiji, in which his english name is 'Harley'- I completely know why they chose that. :|

Then again, that does ask the question of why I have Tamama's name in kanji in my sig...

I have to disagree with that. The time I watched the dub...I really couldn't get myself to continue. |D

5. i know... its really aw-- wait, what???!??!?!?! it is???? if you say so... i thought it looked worse than some of me others...
 
7. At least I can see more detail in this one. The render should be more in focus, though; I noticed some other things before the render, and that's never a good thing.

Edit: ...What the heck, the black background in my MAL avatar came back....

Edit2: Never mind, cleared cache. 8D
 
8. ok... tips? if i take the gradient off the render, its nowhere near as bright... and stands out even less. what did you notice first? maybe if i bring other parts out of focus...
