Uhm... several things I've done that has worked once or twice in the past is System Restore (restoring your system to a time when you did have sound), and Recovery Manager (recovering the driver).

Before you do either though, go to your drivers and see if it's completely gone, or it's just not working (yellow ! or something next to the driver).
