Those shows are hyped and supposed to be "good". They got overhyped and didn't meet expectations. Bleach and Naruto have a lot of haters, so it probably is happening, but nobody cares.

I have no way of checking (because my router is god awful and redirects MAL to Google. Crappy DNS), but Fairy Tail doesn't seem all that hyped, so it should be safe.

Guess it depends on how long it gets and it people's attention to it stays. /shrugs. If the author did a good job of not dragging out Rave, I'm sure Fairy Tail won't have a problem. c:

That and since it's so "popular" among haters and lovers, the stupid happy people are managing the balance. /shrugs

Well, the manga of Rave lasted nearly 300 chapters, while the anime was about 50 or so. Fairy Tail's nearly at 200 manga-wise, and the episodes are up at 34 (speaking of which, I still need to watch it subbed o3o).

As far as I can tell, though, the FT manga still has the same popularity on MAL, and the anime's getting more popular.

32. If anything, Fairy Tail's rating is going up, albeit very slowly. I think I'm a part of the lucky few who aren't really ticked off by hype, which helped me to stand a few shows I saw because of their very good ratings. I watched Haruhi and Clannad without being introduced to it by any overhyped fans, so I was lucky in that regard as well.

Brb, watching Fairy Tail 8 while I wait for uploaders to stream sites 'cause of university internet blocking torrents.

I honestly don't really care about how "popular" and "hyped up" the anime or manga is. Just as long as I enjoy it.
