Yet to read/watch any other Shinkai work. The Promise of our early days (or whatever its name is) is on download right now, though.

^ you should give it a shot! Amazing movie, in my opinion.
 
I don't know if it is on netflix. It was on Youtube, though, so I watched it there.

And machomuu, I saw the ADV dub. Heard the other is bad. And I really liked the performances of the VAs. Although sort of weird they sounded the same when they were adults as they did when they were kids. Either way, it is a visual treat. Needs to be seen by everybody, imo. Simply. Beautiful.

Bittersweet is the perfect word for 5cm/s's ending, I think. I mean, first act made me all optimistic and ****. And then third made me depressed. But his smile at the end. <3

precisely why I'm watching movies back to back right now and only keeping up with two series weekly (Log Horizon and Kill la Kill). Time is a scarce commodity for me. And it will stay like that for 3 more months.

I plan to watch all of them in the order you've listed them, laplap. But none of the are on YT, right? Apart from Bleach movies. Have already seen Hell Verse. And if you rank memories of nobody so high its gotta be good. I'll watch it once I'm done with Shinkai's first production, Hotarubi no mori e (or whatever it is called) and Eve no jikan. Again, these three are on YT. And that's why I'm even able to watch them. I swear, this crappy mobile prevents me from watching so much stuff..
