raticate is actually a decent poke, people just underestimate it cuz its common

HM Slave....the only time I used one of those was in silver for my L81 Typhlosion....anyway I only used raticate to teach it strength. Mines couldn't even beat a biker with a Koffing!

Not really. I only tried to catch a Gastly once, and that was the last time I bothered with that. And Misdreavus never learned Curse, I don't think.
