4th Gen Don't you think the overdid evolution this time...?

My list. I just don't like how goofy they made Lickilicky and Magmortar.

Probopass - Looks like Mario from The Super Mario Bros. but in Pokemon form.
Togekiss- Funny looking
Magmortar- It looks like a clown, and I hate clowns.
Leafeon- It's alright.
Glaceon- It would have been better if they made a fighting type eeveelution
Ambipom- ...Nah. It's ok.
Mismagius - I don't really care about it.
Gliscor - Cool. They improved this Pokemon really well
Weavile - At least Sneasel doesn't disgrace it's line anymore.
Gallade- It ruined the TCG season back in last season
Lickilicky- Big and weird with it's tongue
Magnezone- Okay.
Electivire - My favorite Pokemon.
Tangrowth - Almost as ugly as Probopass.
Yanmega - Awesome.
Rhyperior- Woah! This dude looks very scary in mystery dungeon!
Dusknoir- Cool looking.
Porygon-Z - Maybe but it looks like something from a video game.
Mamoswine - This dude is strong.
Froslass- Pretty and chill.
Honchrow- Nice transformation from a Pilgrim dude.

Maybe if they did give it an evolution people would stop whoring the poor thing out so much. It's the bloody poster child for half of all the fans of the anime, i.e. those that insist that Satoshi/Ash should catch one. -_-;

NEW ONES. I agree, there are absolutely NO new Pokemon in D/P. I'm sorry Rotom, Spiritomb, Garchomp, Infernape, Lucario, Torterra, Cherrim, Empoleon, Bibarel, Luxray, Rampardos, Bastiodon, Bronzong, Lopunny, Staraptor, Gastrodon, Abomasnow, Wormadam, Vespiquen, Floatzel, Drifblim, Hippowdon, Drapion, and all the Legendaries. You guys DON'T EXIST.

Gallade wasn't so bad. It was Gardevoir, who could consistently Power Lock by turn 2 and shut down almost any deck.

Oh god no, I don't want a Lucario evolution. I was merely pointing out that an evolution that would ruin the line might be better in one single sense, as opposed to the dozens of reasons why the horrific jackal-thing should never evolve. >_>;
 
I agree with most of the others, some of the new evolutions are kind of just lame...

I mean seriously, Probopass - Moustache, Tangrowth - Needs a trim, Magmortar - Looks like he should go back to little kids parties.....
But on the other hand there are some cool ones, such as Gallade, Dusknoir and Rhyperior

Wow, just read that...

Lucario is fine as he is, another evolution would just plain ruin it...
Like Erebus said it shouldn't evolve, I mean what next an Anubis God-Like Pokemon

That is exactly what I did when I evolved my Buizel. One look at his back sprite and I stored him in my box for the rest of the game. There is still a level 26 Floatzel in my first box to this day. He has been in there for about 148 hours of gameplay now.
 
I don't think they overdid the evolutions of previous Pokemon, because every generation has followed a pattern:
1st - all new (duh)
2nd - few new, lots of evos/pre evos
3rd - all new, very little pre evos (Azurill)
4th - few new, lots of evos/pre evos.

And as for my opinion on each:

Budew - cool, not the best though.
Roserade - AWESOME. My favorite grass Pokemon, making me like Roelia better too.
Ambipom - Kind of cool, but should look cuter, not tougher.
Mismagius - Same as ambipom, could have been designed better.
Honchkrow - cool, but could be better.
Chingling - awesome, makes me like Chimecho even better.
Bonsly - cool
Mime Jr. - I've grown on it, but didn't like it at first.
Happiny - I also like this one from the get go.
Munchlax - awesome, and cute
Mantyke - liked this one from the start.
Weavile - cool, just needs a better shiny form
Lickilicky - cool idea, just needs a better design. also forgetfull.
Rhyperior - cool, esp. shiny
Tangrowth - very forgetfull.
Electivire - cool, needs better shiny.
Magmortar - VERY ugly, shiny and normal.
Togekiss - AWESOME
Yanmega - cool, but forgetfull and too tough looking compared to cute Yanma.
Leafeon/Glaceon - very good eeveelutions.
Gliscor - see Yanmega
Mamoswine - GREAT addition to the Swinub family.
Porygon Z - cool design, but I think that all of the Porygon family should be able to change depending on its held item.
Gallade - coolest, made Ralts family even better than before.
Probopass - very forgetfull
Dusknor - cool
Frosslass - great addition to Snorunt family

Yeah, I don't like Floatzel's back sprite either. It just looks...odd. So does its Platinum sprite.

What I actually would of liked to have seen, Is they create another new set of completely independant (No pre-evolutions ect.) new pokemon and maybe got older one's in after the E4.
one of the hings that I find the most fun about the actual game pokemon, I how their always coming up with new ways to extend the gametime and this really just seems like maybe their running out of ideas for new pokemon.

Anyway just my thoughts
 
I Don't Like All the new Evolutions Of the Old Pokemon , Some Kinda Suck , I Like The Eevee's , Hehehe I always wanted al the eevee' but the rest ,, just don't like them

8D ᆢ Togekiss, Froslass.
:D ᆢ Leafeon, Gallade, Lickilicky.
:) ᆢ Magmortar, Glaceon, Mismagius, Weavile, Magnezone, Electivire, Dusknoir, Porygon-Z, Mamoswine, Honchkrow.
:\ᆢ Probopass.
D; ᆢ Tangrowth, Rhyperior.
8| ᆢ Ambipom, Gliscor, Yanmega.
 
Ugh, some of the stupid things they'e come up with.

Budew - it's ok, not unecessary or necessary either way.
Roserade - Absolutely BRILLIANT, it's the best grass type ever, well besides sceptile
Ambipom - Unnecessary, the only change there is that it grew two tails!
Mismagius - Fine, they could've made it look more natural but it IS a ghost i suppose.
Honchkrow - Murkrow SO needed an evolution but this is sort of mediocre
Chingling - it's ok i suppose.
Bonsly - cute!
Mime Jr. - It doesn't look anything like Mr. Mime, but it's kinda ok.
Happiny - SOOOOO CUTE!!!!
Munchlax - makes sense that snorlaz was once small
Mantyke - necessary
Weavile - nice, loved it right from the start
Lickilicky - Eyes need to be cleaned out. Right now.
Rhyperior - (-_-) I have nothing to say.
Tangrowth - WhAt DiD tHeY dO tO pOoR tAnGeLa!?!?
Electivire - cool and like mamoswine, now words needed.
Magmortar - VERY ugly yet good for battle.
Togekiss - sweet!
Yanmega - cool, but I can never remeber exactly what type it is...
Leafeon/Glaceon - Leafeon is ok but I don't see why glaceon is necessary unless they're gonna make one of every type.
Gliscor - OMG, poor Gligar.
Mamoswine - Simply great, no words needed.
Porygon Z - is ok, but sort of useless really.
Gallade - necessary, a male gardevoir just won't do.
Probopass - O.o what is THAT?!
Dusknoir - it's ok.
Frosslass - it's pretty good but how did snorunt evolve into this?

but i'm seriously glad they didn't do anything to pokemon like Absol and such. I wished they'd do something goo to Dunsparce, farfetch'd and etc, it's a waste to let pokemon like that rot away.
 
I like that some Pokémon got evolutions, most of them were so weak that just needed one. The only one who didn't need it was Dusclops :/
Although Magmortar and Probopass look creepy xD;
 
Evolutions were necessary, but most of the Pokémon were very bad looking. Probopass is ugly, so was Nosepass. Rhyperior is ugly, Magmortar is ugly and fat. Electivire is cool, Ambipom is cool and Togekiss is cool. Oh and Yanmega is cool too.
