    In Fr&Lg You can catch Raikou, Entei, and Suicune depending on your starter after you beat the elite 4 and you can catch them in Colosseum! Why would they do that!

    Squirtle = Raikou
    Bulbasuar = Entei
    Charmader= Suicune

    You can also catch HO-OH in both.

    They had to find some way of giving everyone a chance to get all the Pokemon, and between R/S, Colosseum, and LG/FR, you can get them all, (except I'm still unsure how you'd get Mew, Celebi outside of Japan, and Deoxys). Oh, and us UK people had to get Pokemon Channel if we wanted Jirachi...
     
    Mew and Celebi are obtained at Nintendo events I believe ( or gameshark ;P). Deoxys can be caught on one of the islands in FR/LG.
     
    A bit off topic,
    Deoxys is on island 9, Moltress is moved island 1. And there is a ticket like the eon ticket that brings you to and island with Lugia & Ho-oH(Island 8).
