2nd Gen Double Pokemon Challenge G/S/C

~June 4th, 2009~

-Fought all the "regular" sages in Sprout Tower
-Wanted to even my team's levels up before facing the Elder, so I went back to Route 32 and fought a few trainers
-Headed back to Sprout Tower and took on the Elder
-Both Cyndaquil and Mareep evolved after defeating Sage Li!
-Received HM05 – Flash!
-Left Sprout Tower and Violet City
-Decided to chill at the Ruins of Alph for a while
-Completed the no-brainer Kabuto puzzle and duked it out with a few Unown
-Got bored and returned to Route 32
-Fought the rest of the trainers on Route 32 and entered Union Cave
-Made it through Union Cave, fighting all the trainers on the way
-Arrived in Azalea Town after passing through the sorry-excuse-for-a-Route 33.

Here is my current party. I thought it would be somewhat neat to post a screenshot of their stats. ;)

Sorry for skipping the update of Ecruteak, all the way through to the Elite 4. But, I felt like continuing. :\

- Made it through Victory Road
- Defeated rival, SILVER
- Healed up and bought some items before taking on the Elite 4
- Defeated Will with Quagsire
- Defeated Koga with Venomoth
- Defeated Bruno with Venomoth
- Defeated Karen with Venomoth and Quagsire
- Defeated Lance with Quagsire
- Got inducted into the Hall of Fame
- Went back home
- Got the S.S. Ticket from Professor Elm
- Headed to Kanto
- Defeated the Vermillion City Gym
- Got the Thunder Badge from Lt. Surge
- Headed to Saffron City
- Defeated the Saffron City Gym
- Got the Marsh Badge from Sabrina
- Headed to Celadon City

That's all... so far.
 
Here's my latest update - I'll play some more tonight.

-Visited Kurt, then fought all the Rocket Grunts in Slowpoke Well
-Ran into my rival, Kamon, and steamrolled his Croconaw, Gastly and Zubat
-Headed for the Azalea Town Gym
-Flattened all of Bugsy's underlings, then clear-cut Bugsy's team
-Received the Hive Badge and TM49, Fury Cutter!

Quilava (F), Level 20
Moves: Tackle, Smokescreen, Leer, Ember

Flaaffy (M), Level 19
Moves: Tackle, Growl, Thundershock, Thunder Wave
 
Sorry for no updates D: here's a small filler...

- Made the long journey to Olivine City.
- Scaled the Lighthouse with ease
- Surfed to Cianwood
- Saw Suicune again, battled Eusine and pwned that n00b
- Went all the way back to Olivine to get strength and give Jasmine the medicine
- Pwned Steelix...with jigglypuff's doubleslap XD
- Got a moon stone from Mum and evolved Jigglypuff!

~June 5th, 2009~

-Gave Kurt a White Apricorn so he could make me a Ball
-Entered Ilex Forest
-Chased that idiot Farfetch'd around the backwoods
-Managed to bring it back eventually; received HM01 – Cut!
-Togepi hatched from its Egg (too bad I can't train it…)
-Caught a Level 6 Oddish to serve as my first HM Slave™
-Taught the Oddish Cut and Flash
-Returned to Azalea Town to get the Charcoal
-Deposited Togepi in the PC
-Headed back to Ilex Forest
-Got TM02, Headbutt, from that tree-shaking guy
-Got TM12, Sweet Scent, from that lady in Ilex Forest's north gate
-Headed up Route 34, beating all the trainers along the way
-Arrived in Goldenrod City
-Strolled over to the Bike Shop and borrowed a Bicycle
-Registered the Bicycle to the Select button (or in my case, Backspace key)
-Headed to the Radio Tower, completed the quiz, and received the Radio Card
-Decided to head up Route 35
-Whooped all the trainers there, but Oddish accidentally grew to Level 7 (Growlithe plus Roar equals…)
-Arrived at the National Park (and just missed the Bug-Catching Contest… xD)
-Received a Quick Claw from that teacher lady
-Got phoned by that Todd guy on Route 34 - he wanted a battle (Groan…)
-Left through the east gate to Route 36
-Went south to Route 35 and snatched up TM04, Rollout
-Taught Quilava the awesome move obtained above
-Hiked back to Route 34 and fought that Todd chap (and owned him with Rollout)
-Stocked up on drinks at the Department Store
-Checked out the underground, fought a few shady trainers down there
-Grabbed the Coin Case
-Stopped in at the haircut dude's place

Third Update

-Battled all the trainers on the way to Ecruteak
-Caught Sudowoodo for the heck of it, only one great ball
-Got Rock Smash from the guy
-Talked to Bill and healed
-Beat Silver fairly easily
-Ditched Sudowoodo since i dont need him at the moment
-Got Surf from the girls, although I don't have anything that can learn it yet
-Machop evolved to Machoke
-Taught Machoke Dig to help against Morty
-Beat Morty without any difficulty
-After the battle, both Quilava and Machoke are level 31
-Traded Machoke to my silver, and back to evolve it into Machamp

Fourth Update. One Busy Night
-Taught Quilava Rollout
-Made Way to Olivine
-Got Good Rod
-Caught Chinchou (HM Slave for Surf)
-Caught a pointless Staryu
-Taught Chinchou Surf
-Taught Machamp Ice Punch and Strength
-Quilava evolved in the light house. Taught him Thunder Punch
-Went to Union Cave basement to train, even KO'd Lapras
-Ended up catching a Quagsire.
-I just realized i haven't bought any Pokeballs yet.
-Finished up and went back to Olivine to surf to Cianwood.
-On the waty, the egg hatched into a SHINY Smoochum, which i proceeded to ditch
-Caught Mantine on the way with my last pokeball
-Got Shuckle from that guy
-ditched Shuckle and Mantine
-Beat Chuck with ease
-got fly and taught it to Spearow
-Flew to Olivine and gave Jasmine the meds.
-Beat her easily as well, both Machamp and Typhlosion are level 40 at this point

-flew back to Cianwood to fight Eusine, and destroyed him
-picked apricorns right before midnight so i got two of each but white, which i gave to Kurt right before midnight
-got 2 speed balls from Kurt
-gave red ones to Kurt for later
 
Reached the Johto Elite 4 at last :D

- Flew back to Blackthorn
- Destroyed Clair first time XD
- Got the Extremespeed Dratini and kept it to use Waterfall :D
- Trundled all the way to Victory Road...my most hated part of the game DX
- Fought Andy again and pwned that n00b
- Entered the ELITE 4
- Beat Will thank to Raticate's Shadow Ball. Raticate got KO'ed, so expecting to lose next D:

Yay, another update! ;)

~June 7th, 2009~

-Decided to participate in the Bug-Catching Contest
-Took Quilava into the Park while the Contest Dude held all my other Pokemon for ransom until the end of the contest.
-Caught a Level 14 Pinsir
-Beat Cooltrainer Nick (and his Scyther) by a margin of 4 points to score first place!
-Received a Sun Stone as a prize! (Not that I can do much with it)
-Got back the Pokemon the Contest Dude was holding for ransom
-Fought all the trainers in the National Park and some kid on Route 36
-Fought the rest of the shady guys in the Underground
-Headed to the Goldenrod City Gym
-Whooped all of Whitney's underlings
-Beat Whitney. Normally I need my entire Pokemon team to take down that beast of a Miltank, but surprisingly enough, Quilava was able to handle this whole battle by herself. It helps being immune to Miltank's Attract. :D
-Received the Plain Badge and TM45, Attract!

-Obtained the Squirt Bottle from that lady in the flower shop
-Taught Quilava the awesome TM obtained by whooping Whitney (though I wouldn't exactly call finishing the battle with 2 HP "whooping")
-Made the Sudowoodo attack me, then caught him (though I have no idea why, as I can't train him)
-Stocked up on more drinks at the Goldenrod Department Store
-Headed out to Route 37 and beat all the trainers there
-Received the Magnet from Sunny on Route 37; gave it to Flaaffy
-Arrived in Ecruteak City
-Strolled into the Dance Theater and sent the Kimono Girls' Pokemon packing
-Received HM03, Surf!
-Headed for the Burned Tower; was immediately ambushed by Kamon
-Steamrolled his Croconaw, Gastly, Zubat and Magnemite (despite the fact that I hadn't healed my Pokemon after the battles with the Kimono Girls)
-Left the tower and the city, then headed back to Route 36 to obtain TM08, Rock Smash, from that dude near the Ruins of Alph entrance
-Went to the gatehouse at the north end of Goldenrod and got the mail-holding Spearow
-Took the shortcut through Route 36 back to Violet, then delivered the Spearow/mail to the guy on Route 31
-Received TM50, Nightmare, as a reward
-Headed south to Azalea Town and caught a Level 8 Slowpoke (F) for my second HM Slave™. (Good thing it knew Curse, or else it wouldn't have been able to survive even one hit from either of my Level 27 Pokemon.)
-Picked up a Fast Ball from Kurt's place (I'd dropped the Apricorn off three days ago, but I'd forgotten about it.)
-Hiked all the way back to Ecruteak
-Headed into the Gym
-Whooped all of Morty's underlings, then followed up with Morty himself
-Received the Fog Badge and TM30, Shadow Ball!
-Taught Surf to Slowpoke

This is an interesting challenge. I've been doing challenges to play my games over and if I can still sign up I'd like to use eevee and abra.

EDIT:

In crystal, that is. I actually don't know how long it will last but all three work so if the internal battery dies in one of them I'll let you know if i started over.

My longest update yet! I got quite a lot done tonight! :D

~June 10th, 2009~

-Left for Route 38, battled all the trainers on that route
-Flaaffy evolved into Ampharos! :D He also learned Thunderpunch!
-Dropped in at Moomoo Farm, but only had two Berries to feed the Miltank (guess I'll have to come back later with more)
-Beat all the trainers on Route 39
-Arrived in Olivine City, met up with Kamon again
-Received the Good Rod from that fellow in the first house
-Received HM04, Strength, from the sailor in the restaurant
-Taught Strength to Slowpoke
-Made my way up the Lighthouse and beat all the trainers inside
-Left the Lighthouse, then headed out of town
-Surfed across the sea and eventually landed on the shores of Cianwood City
-Received a Shuckle from a guy in one of the houses
-Decided to store it in the PC
-Received the Secret Potion from the dude in the Pharmacy
-Headed into the Gym
-Dealt punishment to all of Chuck's underlings, then Chuck himself
-Received the Storm Badge and TM01, Dynamic Punch!
-Received HM02, Fly, from Chuck's wife
-Set out across the ocean again to Olivine City
-Got called by that Todd guy on Route 34… he wanted yet another battle (GREAT timing… xD)
-Made it back to Olivine City
-Ascended the Lighthouse once more
-Handed over the Secret Potion to cure "Amphy"
-Left the Lighthouse, then headed to the Gym
-Completely totalled Jasmine's Pokemon team with Flame Wheel
-Received the Mineral Badge and TM23, Iron Tail!
-Made my way back to Ecruteak City
-Made a stopover on Route 34 to fight that Todd guy before moving on
-Caught a Level 15 Hoothoot (M) to serve as my third HM Slave™
-Taught Fly to Hoothoot
-Headed out to Route 42 and into Mt. Mortar
-Arrived in Mahogany Town
-Took off for the Lake of Rage
-Got conned into paying a toll on the way up to the lake (Groan)
-Caught the Level 30 Gyarados (M) – to be used as my last HM Slave™
-Chatted with Lance, then flew back ot Mahogany and entered the Rocket Hideout
-Quilava evolved into Typhlosion… N-nnooo! :( How could I let this happen? *sob*
