DSS So you're saying Abby's better then other members? No offense, but that's how you're making it sound.

Greg, I'm saying I was against her thread being left open.
 
Well, Jorge made that rule because he wanted a namechange thread, but the way I see it, it's basically so people don't start flooding CQ&F with threads like, "Who the hell's Mrs Cat Dog and why's she a mod?!"

No, not at all.I'm saying that she was most active and got most the heat.I mean they're gonna look at her cause something happend, cause she watch over PC 24/7.
\Nobody is better than anybody, and some people need to relize that.

Oh lord--; Look I made the rule becuse Claire told me to. I wouldn't have added it, but she's an admin and does have rank over me. But she became an admin, AND a S-Mod because she knew what she was doing.
 
Ok steve Night asked why her new welcome thread was closed by blue, and why MR cat dogs wasn't.Then they started on why mods should be able and not us, and it's just sorta opened up to this.
 
I, formally known as ^^NICK^^, made two new usernames, Day and Night, and I made two New User threads, for me to be welcomed, and they were closed. But, MCD's new user thread was not closed, and he isn't new either, even though we both have new usernames.

Actually I believe your confused on why this thread was made, correct? Let me give ya a heads up.

Nickv3.0 made two new accounts. "Night" and "Day" accounts. He was feeling spiffy I suppose. Blue closed them. Nick made this thread exclaiming why he believes it was unfair. All hell in ensued.

He.Is.Staff. People need to know if he changes his name otherwise we'd have people asking why a newbi was modded so fast. And yes, people DO ask that.

Kris summed it up pretty nice.
 
Nobody is bashing anyone, mods think members have it in for them.I know i don't.You were a member once, you should know we don't(with an exception to a few)I was just posting on why i think mods should get treated any different.

That's th problem. Everytime one hint of trouble or drama pops up, someone wants the thread closed. That won't really help much more than if the thread was left open for a bit. It'll just re-occur next time a thread like this opens. Anyway, it wasn't intended on beign a big deal, I just mdidn't like the double standard.

There was no dang double standard--. People do need to know if a staffi changes their name, how the heck is that a double standard?
 
Mr(s) Cat Dog = mod. ^^NICK^^ != mod. (At the present time, anyway.) That's why his thread was closed. Ryan's thread was obviously left open due to bias.

This wouldn't happen if the admins bothered to post announcements when staff left, changed their name, or were fired...
 
I agree with DP, if a mod changed there name, they can post an annoucement in there forums.Or an admin could do that.Really anyone could.
 
Hang on, if staff are allowed to have two threads how come Jedi_Kaizer's got killed? I mean, that one belongs to me and Gweggy, and I'm still staff... right?
 
It IS a double standard! Moderators can have welcome threads for new usernames, and member's can't! Just because they might MOD a dinky little forum doesn't make them more important than a member. Members make up this place, and every MOD was a member once, so don't get too big-headed, Jorge.

WTF?! Bias, get your facts straight. Don't come off calling me biased because of some little tiff you have against the kid.

Nick, stop acting like you're so much better then me already. These aren't **** welcome threads, they're there to let people know if any names have been changed. There is a big difference

No, no. Nick used to be a mod. He isn't now. I merely stated that because I was letting Blue know he wasn't a n00b member or anything.
