Apparently we had a network interruption for the last 30 -40 mins.

It appears to be resolved at this time however some of you may still get a few page errors or time outs..
It should all be stabilized in an hour or two.

I experience this "downage" about once every 2 days, and I go on PokeCommunity every day.

Is it just my own laptop or is it PC's network?

yeah.. it seems when the network came back, there was an overload of connections and processes.. It'll slowly recover and be back to normal soon

we haven't had an outage like today in quite a while, so I'd suspect it's on your end (or your ISP's)

apparently our data center is under some sort of DDoS attack and its affecting available bandwidth for our servers.. Pc is also affected and you may experience slow page loads or pages timing out.

The network team is working to resolve the issue but it may take a while.. please be patient as we work to resolve this.

It appears as though its been happening for about a month now.

Let's hope your provider compensates you guys as I bet this affects traffic etc. (though of course it depends on the contract signed).

If it helps, I'd definitely donate once I know the server is back to normal, or if you guys end up moving to a better provider. :)

apparently their whole network is under attack and well its affecting us as well.. there are measures to help mitigate it, but you can only do so much.. we just have to ride it out.

I do hope the provider prevails then :)

On the one website I help out at, there are the troublemakers there too. Just never thought it could really happen to a whole provider (though possible).

I expect the people doing this, don't gain anything out of this, except the pleasure of causing trouble for others...

Let's hope their anonymity was not fully in place.

Anyway, goodluck on the errr riding out.

    :)

I see, well I do hope it's fixed soon, it's quite inconvenient.

Looks like this morning we (the datacenter and its network, not PC per say) got hit again and we were pretty much knocked off-line for most of you.

It has been somewhat mitigated for now, but there may be some of you that can't connect yet.. just be patient, try again in 10 or 15 mins and it'll connect after a while.

more updates to follow as needed..

Oh please Steve, let this go by quick. This errors are raping me like Barney the Dino raping the internet ;_;....

I'm serious. Oh just hope we return to full speed.

are still having issues? like right now?
    PM me a tracert

Yes, Chrome is still giving errors often and the loading speed is very slow. And it's only with PC so I doubt it's my internet. :\ And what is a Tracert?

Still having issues in Chrome there Steve-o

Safari 4 on Mac seems to be working fine, so it might be an issue with Chrome.

    can you all not read..

    PM me a tracert please!

We can fix it if the network techs don't have any idea what and where things are going wrong.. we need to see where you are losing connectivity.. its NOT PC as it and the server itself is working perfectly.

also, a screenshot or copy/paste of the errors you all are seeing will help too.

What's to see? It's just a loss of connection and/or the browser acting like Pokecommunity doesn't even exist.
