Hello everyone, didnt see anyone making one for this episode so I throught I would give it a go I assume some of you have been keeping up to date with the japanese DP episodes. Today we discuss Ash's battle with Pastoria Gym Leader Crasher Wake for his 4th Sinnoh Badge.

This was one of the best gym battles I've seen in Sinnoh yet, this episode made me like Buizel even more, the guy's a rebel. The Buizel vs Floatzel battle was dramatic, like a battle of evoultion. Buizel sure did get pissed at Pikachu when he accidently shocked Buizel with that Thunderbolt, kinda set the mood of the fight. When Buizel was called on to fight Quagsire and Pikachu was cheering Buizel on Buizel had that face like: "Shut up, I'm still angry at you". But it all turned around when Pikachu defended Buizel. I think this episode was not only for Ash winning his 4th Sinnoh Badge but to upgrade Buizel's character development. Also when Buizel used that last Water Pulse it looked like a copy of Naruto's Rasengan the way it hit directly at Floatzel's Chest lol, that was a cool way to finish that gym battle. Now what impressed me even more was Crasher Wake's Floatzel. When Buizel used Aqua Jet when the fight started, Floatzel deflected it with it's floation sac, that was ingenius. Floatzel's move were as I seen: Razor Wind, and Ice Fang. It didn't really use much of its water attacks much, but then again it didnt really need to, that Floatzel was awesome.

A great battle. Loved the ice Aqua Jet (like a makeshift Ice Shard XD) and the close-range Water Pulse.

Though, the art quality was horrible. =/

Art was bad because Takeda is one of the two worst animators in Pokemon, next to Kazue Kinoshita.

Buoysel was awesome! MukuBIRD was cute too, even if it just watched.

The first 2 battles weren't *great*, but good. But it makes sense that Gyarados went so quickly. But I suppose they can't win. Ash gets an easy win, it's obviously a bad battle. Ash struggles to win and he's weak. Oh well, I thought it was good. And we see Dawn's ice Aqua Jet *again* (it was in the May contest, I'm sure)

    - The animation looks different, like the lines are thinner
    - Crasher really reminds me of Lt Surge when he "pats" Ash on the back XD
    - Ouch, Volt Tackle in the face. Plus, x4 damage
    - There's Dawn's ice Aqua Jet again XD
    - Wow, 2 quick knock-outs
    - I love "Last Battle!" from the 6th movie
    - At least the Floatzel battle is good
    - It's always cute when Ash says "Thank you" 2:32
    - I love the Route 206 theme
    - WHOA I completly forgot there was NO Team Rocket inturuption OR motto! Again!! (the Paul episode there was none as well)
    - LMAO 7:45 (Dawn's Pokemon gone crazy at the poffin)
    - So I suppose Gligar is evolving, then

I just realized doesn't this mean that none of Ash's pokemon were knocked out? I mean unless Turtwig was and I missed something, but like wow if it was.

He recalled Turtwig and sent Buizel out. So Turtwig never lost.

I was kinda disappointed in this battle. I mean I didn't see it but I saw the pictures and it didn't look that much of an exciting battle. Still the last battle with Floatzel did made up for it a little bit. Still I was kinda getting the feeling that this was an evolution battle that we saw with Pikachu and Raichu that we just recently seen.

Also that Water Pulse really reminded me of Goku's Kameameha attack but then maybe that is me thinking back of the days of DBZ. Teeheehee
