    Question: Why did Jindai come out to battle Shinji, anyway?

    - Nozomi doesn't like Shinji!
    - Reiji!
    - Yep, Satoshi! You keep telling everyone you're from Masura Town!
    - Shinji gets to go at the front of the car!
    - I forgot Hikari hadn't heard of the Battle Frontier
    - Shinji looks sad
    - Oh, Reiji's calling Jindai "Jindai-san"...I suppose this doesn't mean he's their father :( Dissapointing.
    - Wow, that person in the veil is weird, Mikota-san
    - It doesn't matter how many times I repeat the scene, I can't understand Japanese! I wonder *why* they're battling
    - Suzuma randomly watches haha
    - What! Reiji cannot go outside without his apron! Why did he not battle Jindai with his apron?
    - CHIBI SHINJI! Looks about the same. He has a bit bigger eyes, though
    - Hey, Jindai, don't yell at Reiji!
    - Shinji switches straight away
    - GSC Rival Encounter theme! They used that last episode, too (well, that was a remixed version). It's getting the love it deserves, anyway
    - WOW, that was a quick knock-out
    - Go away, Team Rocket
    - Champion Battle theme...I'm sure they're using that a lot more, too
    - Eleboo was knocked out, too o.O
    - Hey, it's that track from the Birth of Mewtwo thing! Route 23. I really love this theme
    - Hmm, Shinji's eyebrows are really weird
    - How many different Pokemon is Shinji using?
    - Regice has a cool voice
    - Shinji's Pokemon are being knocked out *really* quickly...maybe this is supposed to be showing how strong Satoshi is?
    - Sad music? Huh? Are they explaining why Shinji's Pokemon are being knocked out so quickly? I don't understand. Probably because he's not friends with them or something
    - What about Satoshi and Shinji?
    - URGHHH the Bakura cosplayer/movie 7 guy in the "Best of the movie songs 1998-2008" CD or whatever it is. I hate him. Yeah.

    He loses...epically. All of his Pokemon (and he uses 6, I think?) lose very quickly against Brandon's 3 Regi's.
     
    darn, he needs to win back some pride in his 2 part battle against ash, since recently hes lost in a pokeringer contest and now.
     
    Did Brandon mention that Ash defeated him? Haven't had a chance to watch the episode, will post full opinion when I have :P
     
    When the Pyramid goes by Satoshi mentions that he knows him. Reiji asks well...if he knows him and Satoshi says he won (somehow). That's why Shinji's like "WTF?! He won!?"

    Jeeze...Shinji got his ass handed to him. Bad day for him. Silver lining for Shinji fans? You get to see some emotion. Totally furiously pissed (not just annoyed at Satoshi like normal) and pretty surprised when Reiji suggested they battle out of the blue.

    Next episode looks very very epic. I think this is a good string of episodes coming up to watch.
