Ash really seemed to act a bit different with si depression for this episode. It was alright as he wasn't overly depressed like Dawn might have been and he got back up on his feet not too long after. It was surprising that in a way, his battle with Team Rocket near the end got his spirit back and the final combination of attacks was a nice touch of difference rather than having Pikachu always Thunderbolt them away.

It seems as though Brock was the one to see the "Being of Wisdom," Uxie, which I believe was kind of expected. However, it was a very short scene compared to Ash's and Dawn's encounter. Although, at least Brock wasn't left out either. Great to see more explanation and studies being taken into the three pixie legendaries, which only calls for the upcoming confront in Mt. Coronet with Team Galactic.

Overall, this was a nice episode. A basic mood change in things and character development once again, but I wouldn't count it as the best for me though. I'd like to see it again once dubbed; maybe I'll understand more of it then.

I've got to hand it to Dawn's Pokémon though, they always seem to give the anime a bit more comedy relief. The funny faces were a good fixture for the mood of the show I think. As for the preview of the next, we finally get to see Tangrowth!
