[Battle] DPE/CFRU Wild Encounter Freeze

    I have been playing around with Dynamic Pokemon Expansion to get the hang of things so I can start making my own Fire Red hack. There's an issue where right before I encounter a pikipek the game freezes. I have tried this on multiple routes and it freezes on each of them. I have also tried changing the encounter to various pokemon from gen 1-7 and it so far seems to only freeze with pikipek. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Also is there a way to change the starters to a pokemon from gen 4-8?

    I've figured out scripting to change the starters and potentially have some clue to the pikipek encounter glitch. I had an npc gift one and here is what the move set looks like. Also some pokemon don't seem to have a moveset.
