    SIGN UPS ARE OVER

This is a tournament idea that Khold came up with so I'm stealing it. >=O

There will be preferably 10 members, but maybe we can get 8, and then hopefully me and someone else will make 8 or 10 groups of 8 or 10 pokemon respectively ranging from good to bad. Each player will pick from their assigned group and pass the remaining pokemon up to the next person, and the last person gives theirs to the first person. This will continue until all the pokemon in each group are gone, and each player has 8 pokemon. During the tourney, you can interchange the remaining two pokemon of the eight for the six that'll be used for your team.

Note: You'll have to have these clauses on while playing:

    -Sleep
    -Self KO Clause
    -You must allow spectators

I also want you to PM me the log of the battle to prove who won.

    So SIGN UP

    Current Signees.

    -Shuckle
    -Mana
    -Tooth
    -Hellishshades
    -Demonion
    -Spike Razzor
    -Khold
    -Nathaneal
    -Kirby00
    -Chibitsyan

    Okay.

Sure, I'll stick my name down for this. Sounds like an interesting idea, having someone else make my team (I'll probably get a horrible team and the winner will have my masterpiece team LOL) ;-)

Disagree, having Freeze clause is like having a Critical Hit clause, or an inaccurate move modification so all moves never miss.

I take solace in the fact that the opponent didn't win due to skill. It's still awful, though.

You could abuse the 60% freeze rate with Blizzard on Dunsparce/Jirachi. Not nice. I may be wrong with the numbers. Otherwise, there would probably be an influx of people using Blizzard on Jirachi.

Cradily always seems to get frozen. Even though I Amnesia up 2-3 times, everyone still goes for hax.

Basically, each person starts with a group of 8 pokemon. They choose 1 of them, and pass the other 7 to the person one after them. Then they choose from the group of 7 that was just passed to them, etc etc until each person has chosen 8 pokemon. then they make a team of 6 with 2 subs for the tourney using the chosen pokemon. Provided the groups are of relatively equal power, the balance should be very good.

    Let's take an example.

    Players A, B, C are participants

Pool for A: Zapdos, Alakazam, Shuckle, Exploud, Lugia, Mew
Pool for B: Deoxys, Dugtrio, Celebi, Nidoking, Suicune, Mantine
Pool for C: Raticate, Crobat, Golem, Miltank, Electabuzz, Fearow

    A: Chooses Mew
    B: Chooses Deoxys
    C: Chooses Crobat

Pool for B: Zapdos, Alakazam, Shuckle, Exploud, Lugia
Pool for C: Dugtrio, Celebi, Nidoking, Suicune, Mantine
Pool for A: Raticate, Golem, Miltank, Electabuzz, Fearow

And now, B gets the pool of what was left from A, and etc. etc. until all the pools are gone.
