    Does anyone watch GT? If you do whats your favorite saga and character?
     
    I own all of GT on DVD.
    Need 1 more boxset for Dragonball
    Need whats left of the later stuff plus the redone Saiyan and Namek sagas
    I liked DBZ the most, Dragonball second, DBGT 3rd

    GT was just..awful. Plain and simple. The only things saving GT were its much improved animation and colors compared to Z, it's wonderful music, and a more fitting ending (and when I say this, I'm referring to the whole flashbacks of every series' important event during the credits while Dan Dan Kokoro Hikareteku played).

    The dub just adds insult to injury. :|
     
    I used to not be a big fan. DBZ is still my preferred series. However I do like GT to a certain extent. I do think it was stupid that Goku became a child again.
     
    Him becoming a child wasn't really a bad idea at the time. The shows producers were going for more of a comedic approach then that of a fighting one. It just so happens the ratings sucked and they had to changed the show a lot...which came out to be a lot worse then the tail end of DBZ, which is hard to top.

    Not exactly. The same result would have occured. Goku would have still been as strong as he was, only he would have known how to use the Instantaneous Movement again (which made no **** sense as to why he'd forget how to use it yet be able to go Super Saiyajin).
     
    o_O Otherway around, man. GT wasn't good, but the ending was better. Goku finally leaving for 100 years so he wouldn't attract any powerful villains was best for the planet. Then closing off the series with seeing how the Son family and Vegeta family have been doing all these years and showing clips of all three series' important events while Dan Dan Kokoro Hikareteku while the credits roll. And finally ending it off with Son Goku flying off into the sky with Kintou'n while the narrator wishes everyone a goodbye and hopes of seeing eachother another day. THAT was a good ending.
     
    It was to drag the storyline out.If he had remembered how to use the Instantaneous
    Movement he could have just zipped from planet to planet collecting Dragonballs.

    But I do have to agree with all of you. I personally think they should have just started with a new cast instead of milking the old one. After DBZ, it got old watching the standard 'Goku solves all of life's problems' pattern. That's probably why the Cell Saga is so popular here...

    And Goku only assumed that the villains were attracted to him, which wasn't entirely the case. The Saiyans and Dragon Balls would have been more accurate. It's just that his mind set is so simple that he couldn't put the big picture together. Also, it didn't help that everyone was blaming him for what was wrong during the Shadow Dragon Saga, but that's beside the point.
     
    Uh, might I remind you, Instantaneous Movement isn't a technique where one simply warps to where they have to go. Goku would need to be able to sense out the ki of the people that live on the planets he needed to get to to be able to warp. Since Earth's obviously quite faraway, the only way he'd have been able to feel out the ki of anyone with the Black Star Dragon Balls would be if he went to the other realm and felt out their presence from there. Not to mention, they'd have to be a strong ki for him to pick up. Highly doubt much of the people Goku, Pan and Trunks ran into were very strong to begin with. Hell, Bebi's really nothing at all until he goes inside someone's body.

    And it is true the villains were attracted by Goku.

    Radditz originally came to find out how "Kakarotto" was doing with Earth. Piccolo told Radditz about the Dragon Balls and Vegeta and Nappa came to Earth. Had Goku not even been sent to Earth, none of that would have happened.

    Freeza. Freeza was heading back to Earth, wanting revenge upon Goku for what he had done to him.

    The Artificial Humans, Dr. Gero and Cell. Dr. Gero created the Artificial Humans and Cell for revenge upon Goku, who was the one who took down the entire Red Ribbon Army. Because of this, Gero was forced to no longer be a part of an army that was to take control of the world. Thus the Artificial Humans are born/created, each having a bomb within them (including Cell who can detenate himself) strong enough to kill Goku. Cell was even created with some of Goku's DNA.

    Buu..unavoidable. No one's but the Kaioshins' faults for not making sure no one besides Bibidi knew of how to awaken Majin Buu.

    Dr. Myuu and Bebi. His pure hatred for the Saiyajin race could be traced to both Goku and Vegeta. Depending on how you look at it.

    Artificial Human 17 and Android 17. Both formed out of hatred for Goku. Dr. Gero used a human and gave him robotic features to fight Goku whereas Dr. Myuu created an android similar to the other one. Super 17 was basically built for revenge upon Goku.

    The Evil Dragons were created from the negative energy. Though Goku's intentions were good, they relied heavily on the Dragon Balls and didn't let things naturally occur.

    Not gonna even get into the movie characters.

    Can you explain to me where the Saiyans came from in the first place?
    Because Frieza destoyed their planet,so where were they in the meantime?
     
    Only Radditz, Vegeta, Nappa, and Son Goku were the sole survivors of the Saiyajin race. Son Goku was sent off to Earth, whereas Freeza had allowed the young Prince Vegeta and Nappa to go off to wipe out another planet of it's existance. Radditz was on a mission of his own as well. Later on he went to Earth to check on his brother's progress. Goku's pod was sent off at the same time that Bardock, his father, was arriving back on the planet Vegeta to warn all of the Saiyajin that Freeza had plans of destroying the entire planet.

    Freeza intended to keep Vegeta, Radditz and Nappa to do his biddings. He was unaware that Goku was even alive.
     
    DBGT was okay but the ending sucked!DBZ was a whole lot better,see ya!
     
    That's for sure. It didn't end right in GT. They could've done it a little better, wouldn't you agree.
     
    o_O Good lord you guys have terrible taste. Goku's gone for 100 years, as are the Dragon Balls. We see him back as an adult 100 years later and everything appears to be alright considering the Earth's still intact and everyone's okay. His and Vegeta's blood line have continued to live on as well. Cue to flash backs of all three series' to show how much time has passed from 1985 to 1997 and end it with Goku waving to the screen and soaring off to the sky.

    This is a more longer version of Dragon Ball Z's ending. With Z, Goku and Uub simply soared off into the sky, leaving their families behind so they could train for a whole year.

    How the hell could GT's ending possibly suck? o_O Goku simply chose to keep everyone out of harm's way and chose to sacrifice his existance on Earth for 100 years to make sure everyone would be okay without him attracting any villains. It was basically the ol' balance of yin and yang. One cannot exist without the other. Everytime Goku defeated a villain, a stronger one would come to fill that void. Without either one there, neither would out-balance the other.
