The reason why is that Nintendo put some kind of a thingy that senses if you've being messing with the DS's clock and makes time-based events not happen. (Like Pal Park, ect)

havent got a clue , tried it twice..... wait.... now i get it.... its my birthday next friday, i always have bad luck on that accursed day -_-"
