Baby Pokemon can't be that bad. They, in my opinion, just serve the purpose of letting a Pokemon learn new moves.

I think there should be a baby form of Absol or or uh...Aipom? *coming up with random Pokemon*
 
Not for a while probably. FRLG is coming out in September and Pokemon Emerald, according to whoever said it has already been confirmed. So Emerald will probably be out around either next Spring or Summer. But Emerald is just another game in the Stone/Jewel series like how Crystal was another to the Metal GSC series, Yellow was another to the RBY series(Fire-Moltres, Ice-Articuno, Lightning-Zapdos series?). Not sure it it'll have any 4th generation Pokemon.

Assuming it doesn't, I'd say the 4th Gen will be out late 2005 or sometime in 2006. 2 years is enough for the anime series to start stuffing 4th gen. in.
 
You didn't spell either of them right. I don't think it'll have any new 4th Generation Pokemon. In Yellow and Crystal, mainly everything was the same but only a few things were changed. In Yellow there was the Pikachu thing, which is the nly thing I can think of right now. In Crystal, the storyline was changed a little bit to be like the anime when it started to have a few episodes involving Ho-Oh and Suicune in Mahagony Town and making Suicune easier to catch with it running around to fixed locations and finally stopping in the Tin Tower.

In Emerald, assuming it is made, it'll probably be something like Ruby/Sapphire. They might bring the Lati@s into the story or something since both of them have colors the same as Team Aqua and Magma. Like have Team Aqua or Magma go after the Lati@s after the disaster with K/G...or before they find out about K/G. I don't see how either of the Lati@s have anything to do with raising the water level or making more land. Rayquaza might also be put in more. Rayza really serves no purpose in the game right now.

EDIT: They should make one single Baby that can evolve into either Mr.Mime or Jynx. Both are almost the same thing.

OMG! Another New Game!!!

According to GBXEMU.com there is going to be another new game: Pokemon Emerald!!!!!

hmm...i dunno...seems kinda fishy having the new generation coming out so soon...maybe its just the 3rd installment to the Ru/Sa? heck i dunno XD
 
Probably is. it might have the new Pokemon, not sure though. It sounds like the 3rd set. Rubies and sapphires are jewels and so are emeralds.

And I've known this since yesterday. Sounds like their rushing everything though. FRLG is coming out this September and they are already working on Emerald.
 
not very believable at all... everyone guesses Emerald to be the addition to RS from day 1... just look at how many "Pokemon Emreald- new hack" there are in PC...

Plus if news are released regarding a new game, how come only one site has it? Sites like serebii.net should also update regarding that asap too...
 
Isn't GBXEmu a rom site??? Wonder why they seem to be the only ones to know...a rom site.
 
I agree with what demonchase said, emarald is a jewel like ruby and sapphire. I am thinking, if this game is the real deal, then it will be another Yellow/Crystal in the Ru/Sa series.
 
I think it will be a totally new game even though the name is in the same set as ruby and sapphire. Also FR/LG has been out for 6 months in Japan already and then a new pokemon comes out!! Gnobe must be one of the new pokemon in this game. Also after they do a remake they would not do another remake cuase that would make gamers less interested in the series. The have to keep everything new and fresh. That is just my opinion. I am gonna do more investigation on this and I'll post when I find out anything else.
 
It could just be a remake with new Pokemon...wonder if it'll be backwards compatible with R/S/FR/LG.

(Off topic..but the R/S forum seems kinda dead recently, or it could just seem dead since I can spend more time here with less school going on)

What I was trying to say was there is no way they would two remakes in a row! That would bring down so much cause customers would be uninterested in the same game. Unless they added a new land or you can go back to johto or something then it would be incredibly boring.
 
Serebii.net updated with this a few days ago

It is currently labelled as Unconfirmed Rumour and I suggest everyone waits until July 15th when I get screenshots and details of the next game before they go off assuming as it isnt productive
