The topic says it all...
DS or PSP?
Some of you may be biased, depending on who you've sticked with and for how long, but me, I personally think both will be very good.
Let's take a look, shall we?
DS
1. both screens can support true 3-d graphics and have a backlight for night-time gaming
2. the lower screen will offer PDA-like touch capabilities, something that no other gaming system has done
3. A microphone slot in the lower half of the system has the capabilities to identify blowing, hand-clapping, and talking
4. The wireless link. Up to 16 DS' can wirelessly link together. The recommended range is about 30 ft. but it's able to extend far beyond that.
5. Cost: $150
PSP
1. Up to 16 PSp's can link together using the Wireless LAN device.
2. Can connect to PS2 via USB cable.
3. can store MP3's and video files, unfortunately, a memory card is needed for both game saves and media.
4. Cost: $250 (!!)
And these are only a few of the capabilities these systems have. As far as I can see, they both are equal. there isn't any amount of pros or cons that one system has that the other can't match. What, with the DS's upcoming games being Metroid Prime, Nintendogs, Animal crossing Ds, and more, there is definitely much appeal. but, with the PSP's Ape Escape, need for speed Underground 2, there is also much appeal. so, IMO, these systems are totally equal in quality.
'tis open for debate. ^^
