That would work.

Something like that would be especially useful when imitating Hawlucha's signature move however if you wanted something like "This move acts like both Ghost and Dark at the same time, so types like Ghost or Psychic that are weak to both will take 4x damage" (like if Hawlucha's signature move is used on a Ground-type) then that would not be possible.
