Okay okay. Can we just say Psyduck looks like a "duck" I'd say a rubber duck 8I Golduck is a platypus/duck thing. It uses psy powers and does have DUCK in it's name so I'd say Nintendo was leaning more towards DUCK when they named/designed it. And they don't have wing... But that's not really a legitimate argument because mice doesn't have ears shaped like Pikachu's and yet.. it's a mouse... 8c So why not be a wingless aquatic sea duck

Does anyone else think the names are kind of... reversed? Shouldn't Psyduck be Golduck and vice versa? xD It makes sense...

I'd have to say a Platypus. It just doesn't look like a duck at all :\

Psyduck is a duck that stands on it's feet. Hardly seems like a platypus to me. And Golduck is like a kappa.
Sure, it has webbed fingers and a stocky tail in it's second form, but that's also a description of how some water mythological creatures look. But at the very least, Psyduck seems just duck.
