Dugtrio Card Misprint?

    Hey guys,
    I recently started looking through some of my old cards and i found a dugtrio from the base set that isn't shadowless but has a first edition symbol. is this a misprint? and if so is it worth anything?

    Chances are high it's a counterfeit or a fake. Mind uploading a picture as an attachment to your next post in this thread?
     
    i was wondering if it was a fake to but it hasn't seen daylight since 2000. So it would of had to of been before then.

    My money is undoubtedly on counterfeit. If it were an actual error card, there's a 99% chance its existence would have been discovered by 2008. What probably happened is that someone stamped the first edition stamp onto a non-1st edition version of the card and then sold it to take advantage of the Pokemon craze.
