1st Gen Dumbest/Weirdest Thing You Did In R/B/Y

Dumbest thing I did in Blue was only training my starter pokemon. When I got to the pokemon league I got pwned so badly. D:

Weirdest thing was catching Mewtwo with about 3 ultra balls.

Dumbest thing was in yellow thinking that if i kept thundershoking brocks geodude, it would eventually hit him

wierdest thing was in blue when i got into glitch city

The dumbest thing I ever did in the Red Version happened when I ran into Moltres in Victory Road. First off, I thought it was an item you could pick up, not a Pokemon you could fight, because its sprite was just standing there all alone. When I discovered you could fight it, I knocked it out thinking that I could fight more of them later in the game. Nope...

I also remember training a Gloom to an insanely high level, thinking it would evolve through level-up evolution. Guess again...

I can't really think of any weird things I did in Red, besides catching Level 100+ Pokemon near Cinnabar Island (using the glitch with the guy in Viridian City).

Dumbest thing I ever did was on Yellow version. I let my little brother play my game and he used a Masterball to catch a Muk. Then he saved. >.<

Boy do I EVER have a list of dumb things I've done.

But because I need just one, I'll say it was getting ALL the way to the E4 in Yellow with only a level 81 Pikachu and a level 100 Pidgeot. When I got there I realized "Oh dear my Pokemon are not cool". *reset, new game, save*

Dumbest thing? I tried to get Mew through the Truck method, it was so stupid of me but I was young :p Wasted TMs and lotsa time on that @__@"

darksage78 > same here xD
A crazy thing? Won against E4 using 6... Missingnos on 100+ levels xD

Dumbest thing: Being unable to get past the first part of the game. (this was when I first started playing) Going through Rock tunnel without Flash. (big mistake)

Weirdest: All my Pokemon disappeared in my Yellow version except for the Abra I was carrying, and my Beedrill/Haunter disappearing mysteriously in Red version. Does anybody know why this is happening?

Dumbest things... Actually training my pokemon up to 70 since I was stuck in Fuchsia for months not being able to find Surf in the Safari Zone. I gave my game to a neighbor and he had to find it for me. D: I tried the Mew truck thing too. And I beat the Elite 4 a lot of times in a row without healing for something like Pikablu... And master ball'd a Jigglypuff.

Weirdest um, catching 3 missingno.'s and running to the e4 to battle with them. The madness. o.O

the dumbest thing I did was letting my friend play and he caught a weak level Pokemon with a Master ball and he was saving and then I shut the power off and the game messed up

Haha, that is exactly what I did. I knocked Moltres out too

I've also got to Fuschia City with just a Charizard once..

Some of the things in here are hilarious ^_^

I don't know about you but I find that kind of hard to believe.
Weedle only learns one attack and even then it only has 20 PP or so. And at level 2 you would only do a single point of damage, and at that point his Pokemon would most likely have at least a hundred HP.

You do that math.

A little kid got there hands on your game, of course! =P

No seriously, little kids and Pokemon games DO. NOT. MIX.

Dumbest thing I ever done was go Ultimate Pikachu on Yellow. I only trained Pikachu, I only had weak HM slaves, and I never bought any prower ups. I just used the ones that i collected on the way. Yeah, it was a very bad idea.

I used a glitch with the safari zone where you go into a secret city. It was so strange. It botched the game when I tried to use the link cable with that yellow game though. Also wierdest thing I did was when I was really young, this is quite funny.

Your screen goes funny when you have poison on a pokemon and my friend had given me a level 80 alakzam to use to get past hard bits in pokemon yellow when I first got a gameboy. Teh screen went funny and I thought batteries were out. Took batteries out and got new ones. Then I went to the shop and said my game is broken and I got a new one! I lost the Alakazam. My friend was not happy when she realised it was just that my Pidgeotto was poisoned.
