Duo-Type Tournament

I lost against Valen 0-1. It all came down to whether his --- fire blast would miss or not. If it did, I would have won. xD

I'll battle when I get clarification from icepyro. Seems I'm being forced into a 3 versus 3 match when all others are 6 versus 6. Doesn't make much sense to me.
 
I'm withdrawing from this tournament for the following reasons: It seems to me the host of the tournament is changing rules for whatever match. I was aware this was 6 versus 6 tournament. The host was talking to my opponent and basically decided either I was going to battle 3 versus 3 or be eliminated. Then the host here says I wouldn't be eliminated but if I refused the 3 versus 3 it would be a roll of the dice to see who goes to the next round. My opponent has only 3 pokemon so he decides to punish the one with a full team? This doesn't make any sense at all? Its not my fault the guy doesn't have a full team. He shouldn't have signed up then.
I don't usually complain on here, but this is just ridiclous. There's nothing stopping the guy from bringing scarfed or choiced water/ice beam/thunder bolt pokemon. I'm sure even the best battlers would agree.
 
Look, crimson, i'm trying not to make people get by these rounds that easy. I don't want to give these people free rounds or automatically moving by any way possible. I'm terribly sorry that you don't agree with the reasoning, but if Peeky Chew gets his team ready by December 12, he can battle you 6v6. Heck, I can extend your battle to December 16 if you really need it. I don't see any reason why you can be reasonable and use only 3 pokemon to battle Peeky Chew. You still have a week from this Saturday (wow, didn't realize it was that long) to get your battle in. I see no way the Peeky Chew can't get his team done in time. I'll contact Peeky Chew and try to see if he can finish his team and get your battle in by December 16. I'm sorry for this inconvienience.

Acctually i pretty much agree. It is set to be 6 vs 6, thats the rules and if you cant meet the deadline then thats your own fault, your booted from the league, i mean peeky chew i got nothin against ya, but seriously if u werent gonna be ready in time then you shouldnt have signed up, and if you thought youd be ready but didnt end up being quite ready then its common courtosy to just drop out of the league on your own. Crimson shouldnt hafta play by different rules to accomodate your lack of preperation

Look i can understand why you dont wanna just give ppl free rounds,but leaving it up to random chance is worse in my opinion. A randomizer to decide who goes on is just stupid, letting chance decide over skill. Also, yes if peeky chew does get ready in time, then by all means he should have his battle with crimson, but what if he only gets his team done, with like 2 days to spare, and crimson cant battle him within that time? That should still be a free pass for crimson as far as im concerend as hes been ready and avaliable for the entire time.

I contacted Peeky Chew, and I told him that if he doesn't get the battle in by December 16 (WITH 6 POKEMON), he will be disqualified, not crimsonstorm.
 
I third that. It's also unfair on all the other competitors because we've all spent weeks, days feverishly trying to build a team. If one person gets to battle 3 vs 3 while everyone else battles 6 vs 6, it's not really fair.

well ill take all this extra time to do some eving (not that i need it my team for this is pretty awesome)
 
also peeky chew should have picked 2 types that he had at least 3 of each instead of the ones he did pick
i mean theres alot of types to choose from why pick the ones u don't have trained
